vans are the new converse. though i think i prefer much more converse to vans.

I think if you get the limited edition kinds of Vans then they are cool because not everyone will have that style, but I am oh-so-tired of seeing the checkered ones! I have Luella limited edition Vans and I LOVE THEM and have never seen anyone else with them!

Well because of lack of pictures from almost every country except Finland :p
I decided to try and take a few pics myself from Denmark, Aalborg since I had to run a few small errands. Didn't have much time though...
I don't live in a fashionable town though :(
But here we go... ^_^

Not an exiting outfit but I liked her boots. . . Also it is an okay example to how people are dressing here at the moment.

1. pic: I think this is the first time I have seen somone in my town wearing shorts and tights, therefore I had to take a pic... Like the color of the shorts very much though.

2. pic This girl was almost running down the street, that's why the pic is so blurry (I was hurrying as well had to buy a magazine:innocent: ) But I really liked her jacket, also she wore a cute scarf... Liked the colors

btw. everyone is wearing leather jackets and boots like this at the moment it's tedious

thanks all for the lovely pics !

The average scandinavian streetstyle is got to be the most boring in the world. It's just the same everywhere. It's very few really stylish people, and people don't dare to dress different (mostly).:innocent:

Amen for that.

agreed! it's too much h&m, veromoda and only..

well maybe its cause thats all we have pretty much here... you have to dig deeper for small labels and search thrift stores like crazy in order to find something unique..

I agree.
I have said this earlier but I'm going to say this again. If people had more options they would wear different kinds of clothes. Shops are all the same and there are not so many quality thrift stores in Finland. And with quality thrift stores I mean the stores that sell something else that neon coloured shell suits from 80's.

But I think I dress quite uniquely (and still stylish) and so does a friend of mine and a few people that I see walking down the streets of my town. So it's possible but I guess it isn't easy. At least for me, it hasn't ever been easy to find clothes that I really like or clothes that I won't see on everyone when I go next day to the school.
And yes, I go every week in every thrift store in our town to get all the best finds and not miss a thing. It can be frustrating but nothing beats the feeling when I have found something precious. ^_^
