There are new set of pics at Hel-Looks for someone smarter than me to post just a heads-up

Am I the only one surprised to see all these gothic lolita kids at Hel-Looks? Seriously, I've never seen a live one in my life and I live in the center of the city. Where do they dig them up?!

I don't really know is there anything worth of posting in that new set. They're all just the same that we have seen here before and it doesn't, in my opinion, even represent the STYLE in finland.... But I have to say that picture above is the most horrifying picture of all hel-looks pictures. And the girl's wig (isn't it wig?... it must be) is just horrible I can't understand how she didn't even put it on well.

These "roritas" have done their job well and I think they look so cute and lovely though it isn't finnish street style at all. I can't believe they're just 14. They really look sophisticated and nice.

umm.. the first page in hel-looks was filled up with those gothic lolita kids.. that's why i didn't feel like posting them, i just can't stand that style. yeah well apparently helsinki had some sort of meeting again for these type of kids or then there was something else that made them come out of their closets again. that's why there were so many pics in hel-looks

Seriously, I don't get the point with Hel-Looks anymore. They just keep repeating the same narrow thing over and over again. If they want to continue doing it much longer, they'll have to start photographing the same people again or *gasp* find a new look to overdo.

i heard that a book came out picturing the helsinki street style, photographers are the same as hel-looks. too bad im not in finland to check it out.

yes!
i absolutely agree! i really dislike (i guess you could say hate) the whole frilly gothic lolita style as well as the vampire thing which is so cheap (and often so cliché, listening to nightwish and similar, the only band i hate more than nightwish is within temptation ), but the new-wave goth style? me gusta mucho. mucho!

ingunn lovely pictures. i'm pretty sure the last ones are from the roskilde festival though. the tuborg øl beer cases and føtex plastic bags sort of give it away --- i was actually thinking of starting a festival street style thread ... i shot some great pictures this weekend at roskilde B)
