Scarlett Johansson

I just find that it's Antonio Berardi Pre-Fall 2014 peplum top and flared skirt. I have to admit that look good on her.

News about her pregnancy just hit the headlines, and now Scarlett Johansson shares her true feelings about being a working mom in the April 2014 issue of WSJ magazine.

The "Avengers" beauty looked absolutely gorgeous in designer garbs from Christopher Kane and Michael Kors for the Alasdair McLellan-shot spread while opening up about her career's future and her acting ambitions.

On her busy lifestyle:
"It seems to stressful to not be able to spend time with your family because you're constantly chasing the tail of your own success. There must exist a world in which I can balance those things, be able to raise a family and still make a film a year, or work on my won, develop things, do theatre. I want to be able to have it all. Selfishly."

On her life as a mom:
"I know that with that there will be some sacrifices. I know that's the struggle with working mothers and successful careers. It happens."

On her big blockbuster roles:
"I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. I wanted to stretch myself physically, out of my comfort zone, and still succeed. I’m probably like most actors. We have huge egos, and you want to know you can be successful, no matter what. I don’t to be pigeonholed in one genre or budget or whatever."

On her acting shake ups:
"I’d rather take the chance of a film not working than be stuck in a pattern of making the same movie over and over again. I don’t want to be the ingénue anymore. That part I’m happy about. It’s nice to be glamorous, but I don’t want to always have to be trendy and glamorous and an object of desire. I don’t want to be stuck in that forever. Because it doesn’t last."

On her relationship with Romain Dauriac:
"Our life is quiet. When you're in a relationship with somebody and you're communicating with them, you want to be as clear and concise as possible. We try to speak French a little, but it's mostly like, 'I like this sandwich,' 'That's a nice color.' You go out, you go to a museum, order lunch, try to do a conversation."

Scarlett Johansson is a Box-Office Superheroine

Scarlett Johansson kicked off the summer-movie season, which seems to begin earlier and earlier every year, on a high note this past weekend.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier broke April records with a $96.2 million haul, averaging $24,429 per its 3,938 screens. But those boffo numbers still only landed the superhero sequel in second place in terms of screen average.

Taking the top spot was Under the Skin, which grossed $140,000 on four screens, for a $35,000 average. The sci-fi thriller finds Johansson as an extraterrestrial predator hunting men in the Scottish hinterlands. Under the Skin claims the second-highest limited debut this year behind The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Johansson will hopefully follow up her box-office success with Chef (May 9) and Lucy (August 8).

Meanwhile, these numbers should make Marvel take a second pass at that Black Widow movie they keep insisting they won't do.

It’s our lucky day – another Scarlett Johansson cover has hit the Internet and this time it’s the Vanity Fair May 2014 issue.

Here’s what the 29-year-old Captain America actress had to share with the mag:

On it being easier dating Romain Dauriac than a fellow actor: “It is. But it’s more than that. We do different things. He’s in the whole art-scene world. So it’s nice, because we can enjoy each other’s worlds, but we don’t have our crazy conflicting schedules and all that other stuff to contend with. And, you know, of course, actors, in general, they’re obsessed with emotions. Although, he’s French, so he’s also probably overly into his emotions.”

On the SodaStream controversy: “[I'm being called] the new face of apartheid. There’s a lot of anti-Semitism out there.”

On social media: “All of it drives me crazy.”

Gosh, I thought she acted well long before now; she was fabulous in Ghost World and Lost in Translation, and pretty good in Vicky Christina Barcelona, although Penelope Cruz stole that show.
