Are you kidding? Their production quality is amazing. Look at it at Bergdorf Goodman and Barneys NYC! I have a coat of theirs, and the lining is silk charmeuse.. sewn in by hand. the stitches are perfectly spaced, every 1/4". You can't find that on any coat, ready to wear.cocohokkaido said:One more thought. I applaud Lisa Airan for showing up in the Poiret cape---- it was a thoughtful, classy, and sophisticated gesture (some attendees probably didn't even know who Poiret was).
Too bad it was Rodarte aka One Trick Pony underneath.Hey, I'm all for gushing and protecting homegrown designers but their stuff are just.... so....badly made.

Why are all almost all the attendee photographs of women? I've mostly seen men as escorts for someone in a glamorous dress, but only a rare photograph of a man alone. Isn't that strange?jakeee said:wow that was soo fast!! gossip mags already have published pics of the costume institute gala?? wasnt it like 2 days ago?? lol
