After seeing some of her sunny-sexy closeups in Match Point I've revised my opinion of her...I used to think of her as trailer-trashy and cheap, but she does have natural prettiness. She has especially nice skin and her coloring is pretty. But that mouth!! That darned upper lip especially, it just ruins whatever class she might otherwise've had.

I actually thought she looked her best and her worst in MATCH POINT. She bordered on monkeylike in the dinner scene (big lips on protruding lower base), but looked serenely pretty-beautiful during the art gallery "reunion" (semi-profile angles are kind to her). And is it just me, or did she look slightly skinnier in this movie? She's always been pretty rotund (in a good, healthy way), but her hips and midsection looked a lot trimmer here.

Who would win in a face-off, her or Kiera Knightley? I'd say Scarlett all the way, 'cause Keira still strikes me as somewhat boyish and gawky-looking...and her lips are way worse than Scarlett's.

yeah to compare miss scarlett and keira is kinda hard but miss scarlett just has this alluring sex appeal. to be honest i have never seen the appeal in keira, not to say she's ugly far from it, but still something is not right

I know what you mean about Scarlett's b/w in Match Point. I was gonna be nice and ignore the poor impressions she left. It seemed that the seedier her character got (unfolded) the worse she looked. Amazing parallel in character development and outward appearance. Very trashy. This is going to sound so harsh but she reminds me of a Woodville trailer mom.

Anyway, back to the good: laugh if you want but I thought she reached her pinnacle in her introductory scene. Even in that cheesy dialogue (......"I was doing just fine.....until you came along" . So un-Woody-esque).

Funny you should ask b/c I had that in mind a few days ago and I vote Keira (at least in face and I like her form better too). Keira's best is definitely more unique and striking and unconventional (in a good way). I really liked the piccie I found a few days ago. She has much prettier eyes than Scarlett (altho Scarlett's are fine). Scarlett has the much better nose and face shape tho. Keira's gawkiness is, occasionally, somewhat endearing. I suppose objectively-speaking Scarlett's best is right behind Keira's but Scarlett's brand of attractiveness is overly-conventional (in a bad, boring way) and extremely humdrum, aside from the lips that, as you noted, add a monkeylike appearance to her face.

The Scarlett vs. the World discussion was quite strange. Just look how cruel women can be to each other... but I guess it's what every celeb eventually has to face.

Anyway, I just wanted to say yesterday I watched Match Point for the third time and I admire her more and more in that part as an actress. She may have her more and less flattering angles but when I asked my bf about it, he completely couldn't see the less flattering ones. I guess in the comparison classical beauty vs. the sexy one Scarlett will always be the latter but it surely is her strong point. No need to diminish it just because she's not both.

Scarlett looks awesome and (by the look of recent posts ithink i am the only person who thinks this) but i kinda like the nose ring- i like the way she does what she wants and doesnt care about the criticism. she is very unique

Scarlett looks very pretty in the last pic - I never thought dark hair will be good for her but with the tan the hair colour seems to work just fine. She looks like an Italian girl.
