SPOILERS for match point ahead:

if you haven't read crime and punishment, i don't really understand how match point would've really made sense, or meant anything...the whole last (half?) or so on of the movie acts out the book & this made the ending really well-done, i think, because you realize how much his life is going to suck from now on... without having read c&p i think the whole point would've just been lost.

but i'm also glad i went just because scarlett is so absolutely sexy. and her fashion sense is also quite lovely (for the most part). sometimes, it's a little too glam and overdone for me, but i like her casual wear quite a lot.

yes it means it's bad..i've heard the same as you. Also that it is one big misogynistic wank on the part of Woody Allen, who, let's face it, hasn't made a good film for a long time.

Apart from that, Scarlett definitely looks incredible in any screenshots i've seen of her from the movie. Her skin really is phenomenal

Yeah, I saw that! Isaac, the name of the guy, was just out of control..he asked every lady what underwear she was wearing and got very touchy feely with them. he can get away w/it tho...just cuz hes gay.
