Yea, hips dont lie and whenever, wherever are catchy songs. But, to get the real Shakira, you have to listen to "La Pared" (BEAUTIFUL), Lo Imprediscible, Las de la Intuicion, How Do You Do, Dia de Enero, Inevitable (One of her biggest hits in latin america), moscas en la casa, donde estan los ladrones, Estoy aqui, etc. My fave is def. La Pared. excellent song.

That being said, I love Shakira. I've been listening to her since I lived in Venezuela - the country she has close ties with and borders Colombia. She has such a bright complexion, beautiful body, and strong face. I just wish she'd go back to her real 'latina' hair.

Exactly! People always judge her on her pop hits, but I always ask them if they've ever heard her sing in Spanish. She makes her best music in her native language. I listen to "Donde Estan Los Ladrones?" constantly and I love Inevitable, No Creo, Ojos Asi, Si Te Vas and Octavo Dia.

I saw her live and she was AMAZING! Sexy and cute and fun. She's the best!

meh...when i started listening to music like at 13, she was one of the first people i gravitated to...her music was beatiful, honest....and her unique voice gave her lyrics substance and value and it made it seem as if she wrote the lyrics of her own experience......but now...shes much too mainstream...its disappointing to see someone i use to admire SO MUCH become a sellout in a sense...i think shes gone as far as selling out on her morals to make a record...i find it sad...and frankly, im not impressed...
