Shampoo And Conditioner

Anybody ever use Bed Head Mega Vitamin Shampoo???

I use it and it makes my hair look nice and messy and it never over-drys my hair like other shampoos do *points to Pantene Pro V*

Here's something I've learned from having dry hair that might help.....

DON'T
wash your hair everyday!!! It may keep your hair fresh and clean, but it also dries the crap out of your hair.
If you wash your hair one day, don't wash it the next day. It's better to just wash your hair one day, skip washing
it the next day, then wash it and so on. You'll notice a difference pretty fast. Models don't wash their hair before
shows because it looks much better and is easier to work with ;)

^ jeez. i wish i had dry hair. i have super oily hair. :(

Seems we have opposite problems then lool :p

Here's a tip for oily hair now heheh....

Try to wash your hair every other day (like in my last post) so that you don't overstimulate the oil glands that make your hair oily. I'm not sure if this works, but from what I heard it should make a difference :)

^ i can't be a day without washing my hair because i am highly obsessive about hygiene, but i have tried that once or twice just to see if it will help, and it hasn't. within 24 hours of not washing my hair, it looks as if i washed it in cooking oil. :(

Yeah, I'm just like you haha, I'm always trying to be as clean as possible

Sorry to hear that didn't help you out though :\

You could also try to cut back on using conditioner (if you do)
and styling products to help out your hair ;)

^ it's so annoying. i think i've tried it all. :( i've tried not using conditioner, and still, my hair gets greasy within a day. then again, i have silky straight hair which i can't complain about, but the fact that it gets greasy so quickly really drives me nuts.

Pantene ProV is quite good but it doesn't really do anything for dry hair.
Herbal Essences is bad but L'Oreal Pearl Shine is just horrible. I regret using it cause it f***ed up my hair!

i think Pantene is a bad idea. i heard from numerous sources (here and MUA) that all Pantene does is cover your hair with silicones, while its cleaning agent (Ammonium) dries out your hair. so it's basically like a living corpse, shiny outside but dead & empty inside.

i use Johnson's Baby shampoo and Paul Mitchell Super Skinny serum as a leave-in.

i use bumble & bumble shampoo and conditioner. i've had both the aljoba and the seaweed types and they both worked fantastically. i have really thick blond hair down to my hipbones and it is super healthy.

previously, i have used dove, which was absolutely terrible. my hair was horribly dry and just :yuk:

i also used to use john frieda sheer blonde but it also had the tendency to make my hair a bit dry.

i've found that devoting a bit more money to hair products is well worth it.

anyone usse terax? now that i know it is sulfate free, i'm interested.
i am thinking of using thweir crema, and maybe one of the shampoos.

anu\y good leave in conditionersfor dry, coarse hair?

you should invest in a dry shampoo. there are a couple of good ones at sephora. Philip B and terax have good conditioning shampoos. Those are always a good idea. (this way, no conditioinig afterwards)

I am a lil surprised you have such oily hair. is it just your scalp or allof your hair? Most my asian friends have dry hair.

So which shampoo and conditioner have you decided it's the best ever? I'm so tired of trying new ones and want the best right nowwwwww :judge::)

i'm not asian. i'm french and spanish.

it's most of my hair. and it's annoying. if i wash it every day and before bed at night, i'm fine. but if i don't wash my hair before bed? it's horrible greasy come morning time!

i'm going to check out those dry shampoos at sephora. thanks!

Do the baby shampoos work? Won't they be weak? I don't use styling products and I don't dye it so it's not that damaged but isn't the baby's hair and scalp different?

isn't baby shampoo supposed to be very mild yet thoroughly cleansing?

i can't tell properly if it works or not, cuz with a short buzzcut, no shampoo really leaves an impression on my hair...

I have a problem. My roots like to get a bit oily after a few days and I have dry hair. And I dyed my hair this week and the dye keeps running. I've only washed it 3 times so far. Should I use a special shampoo or not? I alternate between dandruff shampoo and a regular shampoo... lol, it's the "horse" shampoo (Mane 'N Tail). Don't laugh!! It's actually pretty decent especially for its price but I'm running out and I think I can do better.
