I don't think you can judge a person from the few minutes you hear them speak or the photos you see...
On the other hand I do think there's the possibility of the relationship being a PR stunt to promote the film, though

Isn't that a contradiction? Because that's how we're suppose to see/learn about celebirties now a days. You obviously just can't walk up and talk to them on the street. I believe she was being genuine on the Letterman show because she seemed nervous that it was her first talk show, she was just a bit boring too. That's just my opinion about her though, she may very well be a great person but also physically, I don't think she's that attractive.
