Luckyme The one on the right definitely they scream badass!
Love the buckles
even tho they nayed me a couple pages back  I still kinda like open toe boots they're interesting.
and the top seems like it will definitely fit your ankles or lower calf area snugly which is a MUST.

lucky yay! to the first but nay to the second pair for me. open toe boots ... i just cant get over them. but i guess if that's your style they're not that bad

luckyme:Yay to both:heart:I really like them,especially the second pair:crush:

Yay to the pair on the right those are so right up my ally. I am sure you can rock them with so many different outfits.

Two boots are offered in Post #10,084) by one of tFS' moderators. About time I go to work.

* The first pair of boots... I'm sorry, I'm going to Nay! these. They just look a little too beastly for my tastes. All the straps on an otherwise sleek pair of ankle booties just look a bit too beastly and not too lovely. So I'm going to fail these, but not to an extreme degree. Speaking of fails to a certain degree...

* ...most of you know I viciously dislike open-toe boots. The short answer: absolute Nay! The long answer: absolute Nay! The style of the boots are terrible even if closed-toe. They'd be better off as wedge-heel pumps or wedge sandals. Worse than wannabe chic open-toe boots are those with aggression. Open toes and/or peep toes suggest style and elegance. These boots' style suggest chic... with ruggedness. And I have yet to see where rugged and chic come together to make a nice shoe. I don't see the cute in the open-toe boots, so yay all you want. I'm not buying it. That's even if you're wearing black tights or something. I just don't get them.

Slight nay, absolute nay. That concludes this post. Dress with confidence!

luckyme: i'd say NAY to the first boots. I'm a bit unsure with the second one, maybe if there's a modelling pic with it would be better, anyway i'll say YAY to second one.

I would say yay to the second pair of boots, they look fun and they have a more interesting design.

Daggi - 100X YAY! They look amazing on ur feet!
luckyme - Nay to both of them! Sorry!

shaq, never be sorry...these are all posted for creative discussion, that's the best part of this thread, the commentary. i love to hear where people come in on different styles of shoes. sometimes it's about construction and another might be about form and shape. in the end, its not about the purchase, but an opportunity to get a glimpse of what makes us tick and possibly upcoming trends.

john, chic and ruggedness def come together and make beautiful music...aka ann demeulemeester. fashion rules are never "never" nor always "always" so you may one day find the mix you like, for now, I tend to agree the second boot is a bit forced and they definitely dont come close to the elegance that ann d. creates in her shoes/boots. perhaps thats precisely what is appealing about the second boot, after all, there are some mornings... a girls wakes up, wants to wear black toe polish and needs a really aggressive boot to express her mood, what better way to do it???

i noticed. :p

won't size L be too large for you though??? In any case, i certainly don't dislike them--just the shape seems off to me, at the moment. please do postg pics if you buy them though. :flower:

More shoes? More reviews. Let's get it!

If you feel your feet belong in a straitjacket, then yay these shoes! It's Nay to both shoes! Though I don't like either one, the color of the first is lovely. Too many straps and no style (kind of like gliadiators). Dismiss these monsters from my eyes.
