In the case of the boots in Post #9,227...

...Yay! Perhaps a bit outlandish. Perhaps a look of wedge pumps with black socks. But here's the difference- these work. I was going to say "Nay" until I looked a little closer at these boots. There's an overall nice style to these boots which make them pretty hot. The strappy detail is just right and not outlandish or ugly. The extra white stitch accents make them pleasureful. Surely worth some "nice shoes!" compliments.



Have me down for the "Yay!" crowd for these.

I'm leaning towards keeping the triple lace frankenstein's since those really sent my heart aflutter right from the get go but the mid calf might see more pavement. thanks for your help

In the case of the boots in Post #9,235...

...Nay for the first boot, and Nay for the second as well. I know the low-heeled boot is somewhat the rage nowadays, but the laces and such are outlandish for me. I don't pay much attention to silhouettes. If you were to judge these on silhouetees, I'd probably say "yay" for the second boot. However, I dislike both of these. The second boot looks a bit like a wrestling or boxing boot (not an attack on them). Ultimately, nay for me. Both of them.
