Does anyone know how Topshop shoes run? I normally wear a size 5-5.5 and they have a size 5, but I'm scared that it will run small... :/

Looks like this is going to be an all-boots post. It's obvious I'd say "Nay" to the open-toe boots in Post #9,291 by velony, but here's the only "Yay" comment I'll make on them- nice boot design (except for all the stuff on the front side of the boot. Nice silhouette. Silhouettes, however, still mean nothing if the rest of the look is horrid.

Now on to the boots in Post #9,296 by omgitschristine. I'm going to say Yay! to those. My preference is usually in sleek and chic boots, but those are a very nice low-heel pair of boots. I noted in the "Frye Boots" thread that I had a few favorites though I didn't like their entire collection. These boots (especially the black one) is just right. Brown would also be a great color and maybe red as well. Not sure what other colors they come in. If you want a low-heel boot, that's a good way to start.

The boots in Post #9,304 from Strawberry are these sneaker-like boots with a wedge heel. I've always considered the now-discontinued Steve Madden "Binder" shoe to be the best sneaker-like shoe I've ever seen with its wedge heel and stylish overall look. They're shoes you could get away with wearing sneakers with a work outfit. These wedge boots are kind of like taking a pair of Converses and trying to make a fashionable wedge boot with these. Though my inclination is to say "Nay" right away, I think this is a cool way to combine Converse with chic. That's why I'll say Yay! to these. I'm not really sure what you'd wear with these boots. So while I like these, good luck finding something to wear with these. By the way, the base looks very nice. Had these been wedge skimmers or just below the ankles in height, I'd like these a bit more. If they were wedge pumps, no way I say nay.

Finally, the boots in Post #9,307 by MichelleYue. Read me carefully- Nay! I don't hate lace-up ankle boots, but these are terrible. A so-called "Granny boot" would look exponentially better than this. I'm not sure how much those boots sell for, but if you're going to get some lace-up ankle boots, you could spend the asking price of those boots on something better. The boots are so wrong on almost every level. Why a wooden heel, and why a chunky and high one? These are not terrible, but not recommended.

So in review... Nay! (by default), Yay!, Yay!, and Nay! Just speaking my mind...

Strawberry if you want something and it makes you happy rock it!! :flower: But it's a nay from me
MichelleYue I like those, but I'd probably only do the laces until the clasps and wear the top open. Yay

strawberry and michelleyue, yay and yay...two polar opposites... sporty and street so I hope you show how you will wear them.

velony - yay
omgitschristine - instant appeal to me! So a big yay to either colour.
Strawberry - nay, sorry but I never got the appeal of wedge sneakers :flower:
Michelle - yay!

What do you think guys? Are they worth buying? They are from Zara and cost 100€ (which I think it's too much for Zara).
