Shoes: yay or nay? #1

really? I heard they ran small... should I look at the US sizes or the Italian size cause it says that 6=36, 7=37 etc.. which I'm not sure if it's accurate or not.

I do have a feeling most guys will not like them. Like the previous 2 thanks John, I know what you mean but I guess that kinda the point of the shoes. The 'hiking' style. hehe.

Hmm...they run TTS for me, but I convert Italian sizes differently. I'm a US 8, so I take my shoes in IT38.5. IT38's insole is a tad short for me.
I hope this makes sense to you.

Purly, I have that pair too only in all black. I agree, they are really cute but unfortunately very uncomfortable for me. The sizing was a little weird too because my actual size was too big so I went with half a size smaller but they are pretty tight. They slightly stretched with wear though.

Velony, did you try the sock trick? Wear them around the house with a pair of socks on and they will begin to stretch out. The CL girls do it all the time to their Louboutins.

From three variously different shoes to some flats. Let's begin.

These ballet flats are simple, lovely, and classic. Perhaps the best shoe alternative to flip-flops as far as something to wear on a lazy day and look great. Having said this, the MJ Mouse flats posted by Texas' own LAMALONE are a Yay! Blue is my favorite color. The shape of these flats may be nothing special to most people, but they are completely doable and wearable. Go get those cute flats!

I did a little more reading on these pumps. The "MJ" is for "Marc Jacobs." I'm not really a Marc Jacobs fan, but these are some cutely-designed flats. Kind of like shoes that are okay for little girls to wear, yet still have that cute overall style of them for older femmes. I've seen a slingback pair in white online, and I could really see the mouse-looking accents. Very creative shoes. Different from most other flats with a touch of creativity and cuteness.



So I'm going to Yay those pumps for creativity and cuteness. Don't let my suggestions tell you otherwise whether I viciously love or visciously hate shoes. Dress confidently and look as "fab" as you want!

Two ankle boots are up for review, both posted by angela xx. And to those...

* Nay! to the first boots. These studded booties aren't pleasing to me at all. Pairing these with putting them into boots or anything would give you a look from that decade I sincerly hate with the power of a thousand suns- either the '80s or early '90s. I can't recommend anything better for those, so I'll leave it up to you (and the rest of tFS) to seek something better than those.

* Yay![/Y] to the second. I'd give these an absolute yay if not for the wood heel. However, the shape of the booties are lovely. I'm sure you may have a pair of jeans that would go with those boots very well.

So I'd take the second booties than the first.

Nay to the first booties. Over the past couple of years these flat slouch boots (short or tall) have been saturated on the streets (where I live anyway!!) I can't handle it anymore!!!!
The second are cute and more up to date imo, not loving the buckle so much but yay anyway.
