1. I love these (without the tights and nailpolish) but do they seem tacky to you? Opinions?

^yeah I'm usually not really into that but the studs sets it off...I like the mixture of bling and studs.

MissyJG:Nay.Don't know why but they seem cheap to me.But I usually love this type of sandals.

^ my friend said the same thing when I wanted to buy them. I don't really see it but I thought I'd post it here to get some opinions. I sure do love the style.

What Super Bowl? I can still do shoe reviews even while the big game is on!

The strappy sandals in Post #9,884 has all kinds of studs and sparkles to it. The sandals have a nice design, but all the studs make it a Nay! Not only too many studs, but too many mismatched studs. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise (and try to keep up)... the sandals themselves are lovely, but all those different studs cheapen the value. They'd be better off with sequins. And on top of this, those pyramid-like studs have no real flow at all. Stick to one sort of adornment and not try to mix-and-match sparkles and studs and embellishments. Those pyramid-like studs are totally fine with belts, but not for stylish sandals or shoes like these.

Post #9,892 features two boot pictures. Now if both of them are open-toe/peep-toe boots, I'm not going to recommend either one because I [still] viciously dislike and get sick of open-toe boots. Upon further review, these are the Sam Edelman Lombard Bootie. So these are just one pair of boots in two different colors. Nay to the boots. But if dress code requires you wear these boots, or if there's regulations in your area that prohibit you from wearing closed-toe boots, then go with the black ones since I'm so impartial to black shoes.

That's all from me! Now I'll get back to watching the Super Bowl...

BellaDonna - Nay.. I can't put my finger on it, but they look funny. Especially the brown. sorry

BellaDonna, I posted those in black here a while ago and got a lot of nays. I didnt get them and I never regretted not getting them. I was torn right from the beginning but now I also think nay.

yay to the balmain knockoffs (without THOSE tights! yuck)
nay to the booties... black ones look better though.

Missy - I like the original Balmain ones! But nay to those, they look cheap
BellaDonna - nay, it's a shame because I think the black ones might be cute if they weren't peep toe!

Awwww a little disappointed but I definitely prefer the honesty.

Thanks a bunch everyone :)

Even then, the style of the boots aren't to my liking if they were closed-toe. I'm not feeling open-toe boots (despite some exceptions). Maybe (and I'm generalizing, which I should NEVER do) they're hip in Los Angeles, but not to me and not to me almost anywhere. I don't like these open-toe boots even with wearing matching or unmatching tights.
