Oh wow.. I LOVE this show, I just spent most of my day watching all 9 episodes on the internet.

I love Cassie and Maxxie, Tony is a "wanker" but I find his characther interesting, and I want to get more in depth of a storyline for Effie.

Hopefully Tony doesn't actually die, the show might be kinda dull w/o him.

Skins stars axed? :'(


The stars of Channel 4 show Skins have apparently been axed - because they are too expensive. It seems the show will return for a third series in 2009 - but with a cast of new faces because of the tight budget, reports the Daily Star. -->

Apparently April Pearson, 18, who plays Michelle and Mike Bailey, 19, who plays Sid, will not have their contracts renewed. Producers are hoping to persuade Nicholas Hoult, who plays Tony, to stay for more episodes by offering him the chance to direct.The 18-year-old - who shot to fame alongside Hugh Grant in About A Boy - has already directed mini-web episodes which are due to air online, alongside the second series this year but now bosses want him to take a directing part when the third series starts shooting in Bristol.Harry Enfield directed a quarter of the forthcoming second series, which starts next month.

yeah and I heard it was really opposite, since he is so shy and humble on the show, and I heard the guy who plays Tony is nice and humble in real life. Go figure.

The character, Michelle, annoys me so much. I really cant stand her. I think she is, by far, the most annoying charcter on the whole of Skins. I cant wait for the new series. Its going to be sooo good. Or at least, it better be!!! It feels like I have been waiting for FOREVER!!!

I really don't believe they're not bringing Sid back..I mean he is what kind of keeps the rest of the characters together..
And I really kind of doubt that they would let a 18-year old direct whole episodes..
But I'm happy that Effy is in the promos

Not gonna lie, I could totally live without Michelle... but not Sid or Cassie. Or Jal. Or Maxxie and Anwar. Or Tony. Or, well... anyone but Michelle!

^ I was thinking the same thing! The show would not be any where near what it is with out Sid but if Michelle was gone it wouldn't really make a difference, to me at least.
