Spring 2006 sales

OK finally found out the exact days of the sales here in Italy.Naples starts on friday,then most of the other big cities on saturday ie Milan,Rome etc

But for all they know, a person walking into the store might not buy something either, or know how much they'd spend. They can't judge someone by they look.. I've seen people go into Holt Renfrew wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and flip flops and buy a suit for $1000+. I've purchased quite a bit over the phone as the sales/selection here is pretty terrible. I would have bought a Cloak tee, if he had told me what sizes were available and how much it cost. Too bad though.. the Cloak boutique will be getting my business instead.

They will not accept credit card orders over the phone from someone they've never dealth with, so he had his priorities. Don't be sore.

went to the selfridges sale today.. i must say i was quite disappointed.....

tell me about i! they usually have tons of shoes at £50-£60 from previuos seasons, this sale around they had almost nothing and all the items from past season were really expensive as well

i sincerely hope harroids will be much better

really?! I used to think they never marked down the price on those bags, particularly those classical intrecciato style. So do they mark down everything, or only clothing and some bags ?

I really hate carrying document folders around

I believe some bags and shoes were marked down. I didn't look at the clothes, because I know they are still expensive even with the 30% off

Barneys NY had another mark down already! some RTW were even 75% off! Apparently they started last Friday but nobody noticed due to the bad weather......

maybe you should also post in the rome shopping thread in the shop by city section of shop 'til you drop... i've found that the shop by city threads can be really helpful regarding sales and shop recommendations

I can tell you without going - neither Barneys nor Saks carry DH wallets. You'd have to go the boutique for that.

I didn't have time, really. Mrs. Faust forbid me buy her clothes until her bday, so I didn't really look. I know that Ann Dem, Dries, and Rick Owens were slim pickin's even the last time I went, so I didn't bother this time.

No, I really just bought some stuff to dump on Ebay - nothing for myself. I'm being good, because fall looks so incredible, I just know I'll buy something...
