Stacked Heels...

Does anyone hate this stacked/thick heel look as much as I do? I just don't find it flattering at all.

Oh yeah, definitely! The stiletto just oozes style, grace, power, femininity and downright sexiness! I wouldn't want to be without my stilettos!

I'm a lover of the stacked heel - a stiletto just doesn't do it for me...too spindly and to 'overdone' IMO. It's probably coz I'm a vintage shoe lover where the heels tend to be cone-shaped, chunkier than modern shoes.
Most girls I kno just love em' though.

I like them too. I find a more substantial heel to be safer and easier to walk in. These are nothing compared to the heavy heels we had to endure a few years ago I remember the day I finally broke down and bought a pair. I literally shopped for an entire day and couldn't find a single pair of shoes with a normal heel to buy.

Honestly, I have yet to encounter an outfit that when tried on with a stilleto and then tried on with a stacked heel, didn't look better with the stilleto. The stilletto or even kitten heel is far more graceful that that clunky, chunky stacked heel. Also, the stacked heel doesn't do anyone's legs and ankles any favors in terms of aesthetics. Just one woman's opinion, but you couldn't pay me to wear a stacked heel. That's why I'm so depressed by this season's S/S06 shoe offerings. Some of the shoes would be really beautiful without that stacked heel. Unfortunately I'll have to pass on all of them.
