V's massive 72-page tribute to Elizabeth Taylor that Carine Roitfeld and Mario Testino have been dropping hints about for months will hit newsstands on September 8, but in the meantime, here's a behind-the scenes video from one of the shoots. Stephanie Seymour channels various bridal iterations of Liz Taylor, complete with white garter straps, rice-throwing, black laces, and a bearded groom (model Matt Raimo). There's even a shot of a stressed-looking Testino, who appears concerned about some flowers.

Stephanie Seymour Tributes Elizabeth Taylor!

It was only a matter of time before a fashion tribute to the recently deceased Elizabeth Taylor landed an editorial spread in a high profile magazine, and we’re so excited to see Stephanie Seymour take on the role in V Magazine’s October 2011 issue due out September 8th. The spread features a hefty 72 pages (yes, you read that correctly, seventy.two.) of Stephanie dressed and styled as Elizabeth Taylor by Carine Roitfeld and photographed by Mario Testino. We have yet to see the full 72 pages, but have a sneak peek of Stephanie in various bridal gowns similar to ones worn by the iconic Taylor. And if you find yourself still wanting more, head over to The Cut to see an exclusive behind-the-scenes video of Stephanie with male model Matt Raimo who are so convincing as a happy new couple we can hardly believe it’s just a shoot!

I love this woman, she's the best 80s and 90s model and I really think she's truly underrated.

She had an amazing career and was super famous but in terms of who gets mentioned as a Super mowdays; she is definitely underrated. She was huge! and wish she got more recognition.
