I was trying on Raybans today at the mall and I fell in love with the New Wayfareres lol.
The originals are too big for my face, so I tried the new ones and they fit perfect!
I'm getting the tortoise shell frames because everyone said they looked good on me


Now I just have to impatiently wait until next month to get them

The tortoise ones look nice. I also like the New Wayfarers. The original one is big. I have the New wayfarers and I like them. I got the black ones. I kind of still want to buy the original just to have them.

You know the New Wayfarers (RB2132) are closer to the "original" Wayfarer size Bausch & Lomb used to make (B&L 5022). It's a bit smaller but still closer to the original design. The one Luxottica made the classic/original Wayfarer (RB2140) is a larger size of the original B&L Wayfarers.

I didn't know that. I just thought that classic meant the original one. I do like the smaller look on me. However, the bigger classic look does look cool on other people. Do most people have the classic style? I think MK Olsen has the classic style.

It really depends on your face. My dad wears the New Wayfarer since his face is smaller, I wear the RB2140 since my face is bigger than his and, well, I wanted it bigger

Go for what looks good on you. It's still a wayfarer no matter the size, right? B)

i guess there are two sizes of the old wayfarers. it's about 4mm difference of the lense diameter. as far as i know ...
for the new ones i don't know

Hi, just a couple posts earlier, I had a post up with a picture hosted on imageshack.us (curious about the sunglasses brad pitt had on)

I was confused about posting it myself because this was on some magazine in a chinese store and I took the picture with my camera phone (hence, a little blurriness). Yet, the mod removed it.. but I couldn't contact him back. So, I thought I should put it out here.. some help?

What would I do in such a situation?

But that's the thing, I don't know the source. It was on the cover of some magazine and all I saw was his glasses, lol and snapped a pic. Who would be the source in that case? Me or the magazine whose name I don't remember seeing? lol

since you took the pic from the source, the source remains the same ; doesn't matter wether you copied it or wether you took a pic
it's not "your" pic, so you've to credit it

Why don't you just do a google search with the model number of the sunglasses? Then post the photos and credit them

I'm a bit of a nut when it comes to sunglasses, I'm quite obsessed. Especially now with the summer coming!!! If you can believe it I just spent quite a bit on 6 pairs!! YAY I'm exciteddd!! I ordered via Safilo & Luxottica I should recieve them this week. What do you guys think of them?? And if you have them, please share detailsss!

Yeah, it is a wayfarer no matter what the size is.B) I think that is why I like the new wayfarer cuz my face is kind of small. I might have to go back to the mall and try on the 2140 just because I like the bigger look. If I like it, then I will buy that one too. I didn't plan on buying 2 RB wayfarers.
