Apart from the same main colours and the same object, the picture of Jeisa and Caroline also reflects the overall mood of the painting "Portait of Adelheid and Gabriele von Humboldt" by Christian Gottlieb Schick. Two little girls, sisters and/or best friends, share a calm and sunny afternoon together. The situation and mood is the same in the photo, everythings calm and quiet, the two are enjoying the sun and the comforting thought of having a good friend near you. When it comes to the age of these portraits, there's a big divide here.
And although the later one displays the woman's beauty in its more seductive way,
there's an essential unitive component here - charisma.
Charisma that doesn't undewhelm. The strange magic of their eyes, of the radiating serenity.
Another parallel element of both of the pictures is presence of the animal - on one ocassion a blue-eyed kitty, on the other one an ermine.
These pets just intensify the exceptionality of the masterpieces.​
