Raquel is that girl who is always disabling the smoke detector in the bathroom so
she can take a drag without being caught. She's the one climbing out her bedroom
window at night, being careful not to get caught. She's the one with the leather clad
boyfriend that drives a Harley. Is she most likely to succeed, or just a rebel without a cause?

teacher's pet- ​

A teacher's pet refers to a student at school who particularly respects the authority of a teacher, and therefore receives special treatment from teachers. Teacher's pets are often picked on for their excessive correctness to authority, particularly by school bullies.

The teacher leaves the classroom, which quickly descends into chaos. Balls of paper fly in all directions, obscenities are written on the blackboard and the noise causes such a din, the teacher storms back to the classroom as the rumble carries itself along the corridor.​

“Everybody calm down, back to your seats and be quiet”, the teacher orders.​

“Now tell me who is responsible for this”, the teacher asks, pointing to the blackboard. “If no one tells me, the entire class will be on detention.”​

Polina, sitting at the front of class, raises her hand and stands up. “Yes Polina?”

“Well Sir, it was Paul who started throwing the paper, and then everyone joined
in. But I didn’t join in Sir, and John wrote on the blackboard, even though I told him he would get into trouble”​

A collected groan rises from the other students.​

"Thankyou for being so honest Polina, I wish the rest of you could lead by her example."​
