Finding braces abroad

yeah, i was thinking that actually...but funnily enough i haven't seen any in shops over here at all! i know they have loads on ebay, but i think someone said that men's braces don't tend to sit very well on girls, and that it makes them rise up at the back or something?

As far as them riding too high, I was reffering to ones where the crosspatch in the back is a sewn piece or material or leather rather than an adjustable piece of metal. Quite often, the straps in the back are too long for most women. Try lookin online for 42 inch ones rather 48 inch ones.

Hopfully this applies here..I've been asking this everywhere it may be the slightest bit relevant, but does anyone know where/when I could purchase some suspender jeans such as these? (Marc FW06)

I got the ones from Forever 21 but i got them in brown because it was the only color they had!

I was a little disapointed in the pair from Forever 21 because they seemed to be too short on me. Maybe I just have a long torso? I don't know, but I wasn't too impressed when it said one size fits all.

shweeet! I'll be heading down H+M next week to pick some up. I love some of the ones used in dior homme ss06! How wide are the dior ones, anyone know? 10mm?

P.S- Anyone had any luck with ebay? I've taking a quick look but nothing seems to be skinny enough.

I really like the masculine influence on/in women's clothes at the moment. I haven't seen anyone on the high street wear it well though. I like it when it's Katharine Hepburn/Dietrichesque.

Do you think its best to stick with black or white suspenders? The reason I ask is I found someone that has them in black, white but also red, different shades of blue, deep pink, yellow, beige, grey, burgandy etc. I have no clue what to get lol... so many choices.

People were talking about the proper suspenders being the best (the kind that button) but then you have to buy pants with buttons made for suspenders or pants with suspenders already on them. Then what if you wanted to wear them with shorts or a skirt? Do you attach buttons to everything? Im confused because I dont see pants, shorts & skirts with buttons for suspenders to buy around here. Or do they have that look with clips?

iluvaar: Tough chicks in suspenders...I think I'm in love. I want to recreate the all blue with black suspenders look.

Tiffany: I would think the best color for you would depend on what color clothes you wear the most. I just bought a black pair because I think it would go with more outfits. They had some cute checkered ones as well, and for only $8 I might have to go back and get some more. heehee.
