Had a quick flick through this issue, glad to see there is a tribute to Isabella Blow. Looks an ok issue, the free gift is very cool!

i bought it but i don't have a scanner :-(
i thought the article was ok.. it focuses on her as an actress (how she prepares for roles etc). it seems to summarise her life so far as if the people reading don't know who she is..

it's still an interesting read, and the photos are good. she's styled by rachel zoe.. the clothes aren't amazing but ok.

bughhhh i hate lindsay´s covers is always the same photos....it´s just boring

Chances are, the readership of Tatler won't care too much about her, they're much more interested in seeing if they themselves have made it into the magazine this month, in the party pages or as one of the "100 best-connected debutantes". No matter what might happen in the world, Tatler continues to exists to amuse people of a certain social standing, people with more money than sense.

Where that works in our favour is that the magazine runs a lot of high-end advertising and sometimes with images that you don't even get in UK Vogue. And the free key-ring sounds OK. Though there must be readers of Tatler who are going "Just one key-ring?! Don't they know I own half of Oxford?"

seriously???? It sounds like the worst parts of uk vogue.

I've never read this mag, but looking at the cover in the newsagent it seemed odious :ninja:

For me, Tatler is on the same level as the people it features, which is why it can show a greater sense of humour about the things it covers. It's irreverent, whereas UK Vogue has less humour in its coverage. Tatler calls a twit a twit. It assumes readers will be familiar with who they're talking about, and will know it's all a laugh.

UK Vogue... for me, there's more formality in its social coverage. There's a need to show everything in a more serious light, to look intellectual. But sometimes a party is only a party, so I tend to skip those social pages in UK Vogue. The pictures are too small and there's nothing to make you laugh or feel inspired.

wow...whats wrong with her hair!? and eyebrows? and the mirrorball top is really unflattering! she looks well rough
