first of all - thanks so much   . second of all - totally don't mind. it's on my left ribcage, wrapping under/around my breast. third of all - i had no idea about wasson! my artist was psyched because apparently very few women get actual picture tattoos in that particular spot - despite it being pretty discreet & easily concealed; then again, i live in north carolina, not exactly a tattoo art hotspot.

^ it looks so cute! i love the placing, it couldn't be more perfect.
i have a tattoo on the same place (well, kind of) and the tattoo artist that did it said the same thing to me: how brave i was because it's one of the most painful areas to get a tattoo and there're even guys who aren't brave enough to get it there :flower:

beyond dynamite, that's the most original tattoo I've seen in a long time!! :) Love it!

Hey, I was thinking about getting something Arabic (I have a word in mind, I just need to translate it). Are there other scripts people recommend that's more "curvy" ? What do you think about the graphic below? (I don't think I'd get the french words below the script)

i've been thinking to get a tattoo in my wrist...
is it hurt?

beyond dynamite, I absolutely adore your tattoo and the placing.

i have tattoos on both of my wrists and they didn't hurt. it's not that you're not gonna feel anything, but it's an easy tolerable pain, no doubt about that. so i'd say go for it :flower:

I like tattoos, but only if they have meaning, and are tastefully done.

There's a few that I'd like to get done:
A music note on the inside of my left wrist.
The drama/comedy masks somewhere near my pelvic bone. Probably on the right side, to even out with the music note.
And then I'm thinking of getting Sztuka jest życie on the back of my neck. ("Art is life" in Polish, to represent my love for art, and my Polish heritage.)

So, all three are to be fairly small (all around 1inch, give or take a few centimetres. All in black ink.) and descrete. Seeing as they all symbolize my three passions in life, I have no problem with the fact that it's, well, permanant.
I've put quite a lot of thought into this! I'm planning to treat myself to the music note tattoo for the 18th birthday. :D

(if I wasn't appalled by large back tattoos, I'd get a paintbrush painting a Polish flag on a canvas. but, that's waaaay too big! Still, it's a neat image.)

The only thing I could get tattooed on myself (at least so far in my life) would have to be a really small Danish flag, or something else symbolizing Denmark. Denmark is a huge part of my life, and living there really made me who I am.

I'm actually somewhat considering getting a small tattoo someplace discreet with a Danish word or phrase such as the Danish word for life (liv) or happiness (lykke). I was thinking along my hairline on the back of my neck so I could always hide it by wearing my hair down, but then I thought about my wedding someday and how I really don't want that to show up when I wear my hair up for that. :innocent:

Then I thought about getting it going down either the inner or outer side of one of my feet, going from toe towards ankle. What do you think about that? Do that many tattooing places have a problem with doing feet? And if so, what are the reasons for that?

wow :woot: it's great that u want an arabic word tatoo, im egyptian & i speak arabic so im a little bit excited by that, anyway i suggest you change the font, i mean to make it seem like an arabian wrote it for you, like angelina's wrist tattoo.

before i got mine, i did tons of research. i read that the lower back, foot and ankle are the most painful places for a woman to get a tattoo--whereas a man's stomach, foot, and ankle are his most painful places.

all can say is that when i got my tattoo on my lower back, it was the most painful 45 miutes of my life--worse than i imagine child birth must be!

3 stars about 3cm how much would that be? what do you guess? just black...
tattoos are so expensive. and then thinking of a good tattoo-maker

i am thinking of a tattoo, somthing like 'free spirit' in hebrew or arabic at the top of my spine...it will be my third i have one going round my ankle which suprisingly didnt really hurt as much as i thought and i have a angel bowing down at the bottom of my back which DID hurt....alot. tatoos are just soooo addictive after the one on my bk i said it hurt so much i wouldnt have another but now i have a urge to get another!

I've been looking around Toronto for good tattoo shops.. but I found a lot of "shady" ones along yonge street (haha). They didn't look too "clean" either..

Anyways, I finally found a place where I want to get it! It's at Queen Street West (across from Much Music!). They've got an awesome portfolio too!
