I have a white one on the inside of my wrist. . .
There really isn't that much info out there, since they aren't popular. I tried to find stuff too but I gave up and just got one. I got mine for my best friend that was killed so I didn't want everyone to see it, just those I chose to tell. So, that's why I chose white because they don't show up. Depending on if I'm tan or burnt, sometimes it looks like a branding. Most of the time though, you can't see it.
Anything else just ask.

That sounds really intesting I like the idea of a white tattoo but I get the impression that the ink would spread out and the tattoo would become a bit blurry more than darker ink would after a while. Is that true or is it the same as normal ink?

For a white tattoo. . . no, that's not true- it's normal ink.
For the glow in the dark (which aren't FDA approved yet and there's still debate about the safety) I have no clue since it's not the normal ink.

^ For some people the UV ink will itch...sucks if they dont get over the irritation/allergy...I know there are is one ink that is approved, but many artist just refuse to work with UV ink- because of the medical risks of some unapproved inks and because you have to apply with blacklight and it takes longer because the ink is much thinner. You have to take care of it more during the healing process because if it gets tattoo scarring, it'll show up more than a regular in tattoo.

one of the tattoos on my arm is bumpy. i ve had it for almost 10 yrs now and it s been bumpy since the first day i got it! i never really understood why!

I dont know if I already posted in here or not.

I have seven tattoos. My favorite is this star on my wrist that is years old, still is the same color, and I still LOVE it. I can cover it up with a watch for work so no one sees it.

I have this old Merman tattoo, that faded really fast. I think the tattoo artist just did a crappy job. Im trying to find something to cover that up right now. Im thinking of something like a tree, or flowers, or a koi, or something. Not sure yet, but I really want to get it covered.

i love the star on ur wrist!
as for the other one that faded, i think it depends on the ink's quality, no??

I would NEVER get a UV tattoo, but that's just me. I don't know, the whole concept seems weird.
Ianastar I like the color of your star tattoo (on my computer it's like a seafoam greenish?). I also like it on the outside of the wrist, as opposed to the inside (where everyone has theirs). I also like the fact that's it's not red.

I want a new one, a feather maybe. Just not sure where. . .

It is a classic case of bad tatoo scaring. It will never go away.

^ it is usually sunlight that makes a tattoo fade over time.

I think with mine it was a guess of bad ink...it literally looked like that within a week. So it wasn't sun.

My Star has not changed color at all, but Im not really a tanner either. I kind of avoid the sun.

^ That's too bad about the mermaid! I'd be so mad at the tattoo place if I was in your position!

^^ Wow. I wonder what went wrong with your tattoo. I hope it doesn't hurt!
