The peacock feather tattoo is gorgeous! :woot: Wow! Where did you get it done?

Please! I need help deciding =)

My boyfriend and I are getting skeleton keys for Valentines Day next week! It will be my 5th and his first (hes a baby =)

The problem is - I drew up 3 different versions and we can't decide which ones.

I would appreciate ANY input from people :flower:

I am getting one of the following 3 ** this is just a template tho - my artist will draw up a cleaner version :p:

I like the second one with the delicate scrollwork for the outline,
and the third one for the solid one (simple, graphic, and more "masculine")

let us know how it turns out for you! good luck.

^I like the second and third as well. Let us know how it goes! Would love to see pictures!

ilovecouture- Yeah it has alot of meaning to me, My last name in Portuguese means peacock. My fathers side of the family is all originally from Portugal and I just feel really close to that side of my family. I lost my grand father 2 years ago and my grandma soon after... A peacock to me is a symbol of my family.

Boluda- Yes I will agree its extremely painful. and you cant really describe the pain until you actually get it, I mean it really is bearable. Its more like you squeeze the chair and grit your teeth on the sensitive parts. but the outcome is sooooo worth it :)

Thekiwi- A small tattoo parlor in downtown SLC, called Oni Tattoo.
I went for a specific artist named Sarah De azevedo. Shes spectacular with color and detail. http://www.onitattoogallery.com/sarah/main.php

Thank you everyone for all the karma :)

mkd- I love the third key not colored in. I think with the black outline and a Grey shade on the inside of the key it would look amazing.

maybe i had something else on my mind while i viewed them:innocent::shifty:

I have an apt to go back to and get something new in two weeks.

I'll have to take pictures of that one and the last one and post them back.

I don't seem to have any pics of mine, but I have six tattoos. An ankh on my hip, shooting stars around my belly, a dragon on my ankle, a storm cloud on my left shoulder blade, moon on my right shoulder blade and a big sunflower in the middle of those two.

Next one is going to be a dragonfly (I love them!), but I'm not sure where. Possibly on my foot, but those ones tend to fade. Hmm ...

Im a bit late to this thread, but I have two tattoos. A moth on my foot, and a hot air balloon on my side. I drew both of them and they are both tattoos that mean a lot to me. The moth took about 45 mins and didn't hurt at all. My side piece took about 5 hours and was excruciating at times, but I have a relatively high pain tolerance.

i need to get some areas redone, but i plan on getting full sleeves eventually (which is why it isn't perched on anything)... once i finish designing it and have enough money saved. oh and that peacock feather on the previous page is amazing!

Mass - that is amazing. I cant wait to see what its like when its done. Im working on a sleeve of sorts. I am doing a bunch of smaller images that have a theme.

I will have gaps between them..so its not really a full sleeve I guess.
