Tattoos

I was wondering if anyone has a picture of the girl on the show Fallen that shows the angel tattoo she has?

I had a dream the other day...
Wouldnt it be the coolest thing to have a one off artwork by e.g. Takashi Murakami tattooed?

I wish...

aww I am glad that I found this thread. I got my first tattoo about 6 years ago and have been anxious to get another. keep posting your tattoo pics guys... I've been enjoying them.

Does anyone have examples of really fine lettering or script anywhere on themselves? I'm seriously considering getting a (tastefully done) word or two.

^ I'd love that as well! If I was going to get a tattoo, it'd be some lettering in a really pretty font, but I have yet to find the perfect one.

I think Im getting a new one in about two weeks when I go to DC. Oh!!:D

Is DC special for some reason? I have easy access to the city and would be more inclined to have it done there if you happen to know of a fantastic place.

i'm thinking of getting a new tattoo, not sure about where or what. it may sound silly but i want it to represent the concept of love.

i don't think you need to have a meaning for every tattoo you get, as long as you're happy with it, it's all good to me.
i've posted mine before here (including lettering stuff Virginielle and TheKiwi), and some of them do have a meaning to me, and some are just visually cute.. like the pink bow i have on my wrist...

I love Gale Harold:heart:

I lived in DC for awhile, and was going to get one with a friend. We've been talking about it forever.

I think we are going to either Fattys or Jinx Proof. Those are the only ones we have heard good things about.

Jinx Proof is ridicously expensive though.

Im putting together images for a sleeve that I hope to start soon, all things FRENCH!!

I just got two tattoos last week. On the inside of my right wrist is the "Om" Symbol, and on the inside of my left wrist is the mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum". They are both pretty small, it only took 15 minutes to do each and it did not hurt at all. I'm not a very religious person, but I consider my self to be very spiritual, and these two tattoos mean alot to me. I know getting a tattoo on the wrist is sometimes looked down upon because it is not considered classy in the professional world, but Im not ashamed about my spirituality and I wanted them placed in an area i can often look at. Also regarding the on going argument of how the tattoos are going to look ugly when you're old and wrinkly, all i have to say is : It's not about how it's going to look when I'm 65, its going to be about the memories I'll have about my life when I look at it. Other people may look at my tattoo at that age and be disgusted, but everytime i look at it (even if it looks wrinkly), I would only be reminded of all that i went through in life, my experiences that lead me to getting the tattoo, and the memories of how my life was after the tattoo. It would be like my personal memoir, one which only I'll know all the details about.

I would love to get the quote "Love, curiosity, freckles and doubt" (A quote by Dorothy Parker, but to me it would be the exact opposite of what she meant ) tattooed in nice cursive letters, but I don't think I want it that big. Plus, I'm picky about the positioning of sentences anywhere, let alone my body.

Instead, I love the idea of "laughter" tattooed on the back of my neck.

I honestly don't care if people think it's cliche, or stupid, or if I'm too young. It's my choice and if I regret it later on in life then it is entirely my fault and I'll have to live with it.

(I'm underage, but I have parental consent.)
