Tattoos

At this moment, I only have a tattoo of a spider on my wrist.
But in the future I would love to have a white-ink tattoo, just like model Catherine McNeil ^_^

I got a tattoo of a diamond when I was ~*tipsy a few years ago. One of the biggest mistakes of my life

do you mind posting a pic? i would like to see it. diamonds are very sophisticated. why regrets? ;)

^in what part of your body?

My hip.

Diamonds aren't very sophisticated, in my opinion. It's not something I really wanted, and the fact that it's permanent is still haunting me. I don't have a picture of it at the moment, but I'll get around to taking one, and I'll post it here when I do ;)

And also, a diamond isn't really "me." If that makes sense... I used to be a little flamboyant, not anymore. It just doesn't feel right on my body.

if you really regret it that much, maybe you could consider having it removed?

I've given it a lot of thought, and I really want to. I'm just not down to have a diamond shaped scar... and I can't really ask my parents for help, because they'd kill me if they found out I had it!

why dont you cover it up with something else??? instead of having it removed

I've been told, but I don't know what to get it covered with. Most tattoos I'd want are "cliché" or considered to be. And does it (the covering) really work that simply? Does it just overlap the old tattoo? I was thinking about letting it fade away but I'm not sure that would work...

Depends on the colors used in the tattoo.. I don't think it fades away soon or enough. I believe it also fades faster in the sunlight.. don't know if your hip is out in the open air that much :p Maybe you could have a chat with a tattooartist and get inspired.. they can also make good designs ofcourse, you don't have to do it yourself.

with cover ups usually the design has to be bigger and darker than the design that is already there to cover it. although a tattoo artist might not cover something that is already too dark and a design wouldnt fit over it.

although you always have the option to get it lasered so its lighter so you'll have more choice when it comes to your cover up design.

ask a tattoo artist, you'll be amazed at what they are able to do.

i want to get the bansky balloon tattoo but i feel like way too many people have it? thoughts?

(estilob.com.br) i am sorry thats so huge..

do you mean this banksy balloon?
with or without the girl?

That's weird that you say it's common, I had never seen it before...
I've been thinking for some time about a tattoo, and have already posted about different ideas I had, but I think that I'm getting to my final decision.
I think I want in my upper, inner left arm, the words:
'Ahui a me hae
What do you guys think?

I have that tattooed on my leg and I haven't met anyone with it, or anyone who's said "oh, my friend's friend's sister has that tattoo!" but I'm not saying it's super original or anything, because Banksy is actually quite a popular tattoo choice. Here is mine: http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b158/lapush/banksytat.png * Honestly though, it shouldn't bother you how many people have it as long as it means something to you. I have "this too shall pass" tattooed on me and the night I got it done, my friend Kevin told me he knew about 5 people with the same thing. I didn't care, it may not mean to me what it means to other people. Nevertheless, if it bothers you that much, then maybe you're just not meant to have it. Banksy has other amazing stuff you may like. :)

*honestly, my camera doesn't do it justice. I've had it since mid last year and I still love it.

Like I've said before, I really want something that looks like henna--something brown and intricate, but not on the obvious places like hands or feet.. My boyfriend said I should get one on my upper back, but I wanna be able to wear formal gowns without it showing... Hmmmm decisions decisions.

^ I think that along down the rib or following the natural curvature of the rib could allow for beautiful movement.

You're right! and I do always love tattoos that swirl across the upper stomach... Okay thank you! I'm really thinking designing one now ^_^
