I started dating my ex when I was 20 and he was 30. It wasn't a big deal to me or anyone else for that matter.
I don't think Taylor is as immature as people often think. I guess it's just her image and her playing naive and innocent that makes people think that. And it's not like Jake is an old man that comes from a totally different background, so I don't really see what the problem is there. Showbiz people are probably all pretty much the same maturity wise regardless of whether they're 20, 30 or 40 years old.

That being said, this whole thing still looks horribly staged to me

Beyonce started dating Jay-Z when she was 19 and he was 30 something, nobody had a problem with that, and when Taylor was Linked with Cory Monteith and John Mayer who are 28/33 nobody had a problem with the age difference,but because it's Jake...the age difference is SUCH a huge problem. In those US weekly pics,, Jake doesn't look that much older then Taylor....I think people just don't like Taylor that's the problem with this. She certainly isn't immature/wild like Lindsay Lohan or Miley Cyrus.Her lyrics may be High Schoolish, but she seems responible and in control.

If they are together 3 yrs from now, I wonder if people still going to say...PR STUNT...
