Some of his photos look so real, they frankly make me uncomfortable.

Nothing to do with the perverted sexuality he objects, it is the realness and the lack of airbrushing that makes his subjects look like 'objects' on an operation table.

In some ways, the plasticity of Mert and Marcus, and the glam of Testino are so much easier to scan and indulge in.

To be honest I think Richardson is a very surprising choice for Pirelli, but the model cast looks good and I'm eagerly awaiting the outcome.
