^Into the Wild has one of the best soundtracks in movie history imo! and I´m not even a Pearl Jam fan...
Same here, forgot to mention the soundtrack, thanks for remembering me! I think Eddie's voice is perfect with the 'wild' atmosphere of the movie. I'm now interested in reading the book, my friend said it's even better than the movie (as usual)!

And mint condish, Vicky Cristina Barcelona is just so easy to watch!
I was wondering, how about the movies we watched last year, I don't want to include them in my list, but can we still recommend them? I looked for a thread with a similar purpose and don't seem to have found it

edit: I totally forgot to mention The Shawshank Redemption in my list, shame on me  I highly recommend it, it may be a little predictable, but it's still a beautiful movie.

18. Nature Morte (2008) / Tomorrow everything will be alright (2010) / Earth of Endless Secrets (2011) by Akram Zaatari (Lebanon). Counting them all three as one as they're short films and watched them all in an exhibition.. they're pretty much part of the same thing.. something like that.

Guys, are we going to set up a theme? Because after watching Breakfast at Tiffany's today (which is one of my favourites movies ever) I've decided to watch Audrey's whole filmography and I just don't know if i should wait for a proposed theme or to start watching those with Audrey.

^I think the consensus is that everyone sets their own theme and then people can join at will...?
I´d like to see every Audrey movie, I´ve only seen two or three. Maybe after I´m done with my challenge for February (watching Oscar 2012 nominated movies/actors) :)

Yeah, when I think it's probably best for everybody to do whatever challenge they want, but use this thread to keep motivated/get ideas/discuss how it's going. I think for the rest of the month I am going to be (generally) working on current Oscar nominees and past Oscar winners, in addition to watching more Asian cinema.

Niusity, be sure to watch Charade, Two for the Road and Wait Until Dark. I really enjoyed those Audrey movies.

38. The Last Wave (1977)
39. The Most Dangerous Game (1932)
40. Pink Ribbons, Inc. (2011)

^what does the * mean?

Oh sorry I meant to put at the bottom of my post that * means I watched it in my film class. ^_^

Also, I forgot to mention in my last post that I really enjoyed 50/50. My sister and I both agreed that we were really impressed with Seth Rogen for co-writing a story like this. Because cancer is such a touchy subject but the writers managed to tell it in a unique and appropriate way. And Joesph Gordon Levitt plays his character so well (and looks mighty cute while doing so...it's that smile I tell you! ).
