^ I'm impressed with all the noir you can watch in a row Festat! I find that if I watch too many in a row I get their plots confused. So I always try to stagger the noirs I watch.

I have an article to do on them! I confess sometimes I have to write down a logline for some movies. I don't really get the plots confused, but the titles — like with Out of the Fog and Escape in the Fog: I can tell you the whole story of each one, but don't ask me to tell you which one is Out and which one is Ecape. :ninja:

So. I'm having a weird problem. The more movies I watch, the more I'm realizing what I'm NOT watching.

I'm 130ish movies in and I'm disliking that I haven't watched enough documentaries this year (Keeping them in a list separate from the fiction films) and the glaring lack of Indian/Bollywood films is driving me crazy (especially since I've watched films from basically every other place on earth).

I mean, I'm satisfied with all that I've discovered and watched this year (even the misfires have been enlightening), but now that I've seen so much, it makes me want to watch even more cinema from all over.

(But it is giving me goals for next year of what to watch!)

-This film always turns me into a big weepy mess.
91. Heathers -I feel like this film was a bit overrated, wasn't nearly as good as I thought it would be. But I can see how it helped pave the way for other films like Clueless and Mean Girls.

I also watched The Hunger Games again, but I can't count it because I've seen it four times now! I think I'd be at a hundred if I counted all the films that I've re-watched.

^every time I catch Atonement on tv I end up crying... I´ve seen it like 10 times and every time is the same. One of my all time favorite movies  :(

^Same here. Atonement is one of those films that will probably always make me tear up. The storyline is so captivating- how misunderstanding, childishness, and a desire to shape "real-life stories"- can cause so many lives to be wrecked. And I appreciate how it has substance too by trying to impart the wisdom that attempts to make up for wrongdoings will often fall short. And of course, who can forget about the cinematography or the costumes (that green dress!)? Simply fantastic! I pretty much always end up gushing over the film whenever it comes up in conversations, it can't be helped, it's such a sad but beautiful film!
