I´m from Argentina. Gotta say that our group is quite easy... I think the Groups of Death are D & G, maybe B.

Since there were some rly better teams that they could be sorted with, Brazil, Argentina and France got so lucky.
I'm now only feeling sorry about poor Uruguai,and I'm pretty sure the matches between Spain x Netherlands and England x Italy x Uruguai are gonna be so excting. I'm ready to see the Brazilian stadiums on FIRE with this World Cup

I just realized that it is a month till the kick off So it's a good time to subscribe to this thread.

I'll be rooting for Spain as always just because I follow La Liga religiously and therefore know the players there the best. And of course I'll be hoping Netherlands great succes as for being the closest country to my own country to qualify (besides russia of course....)

The 13th of June will be exciting between Spain vs Netherlands

I'm super excited! I'll be cheering for Spain as always although I am not 100% sure they will win this year. Can't wait for the match between the Netherlands & Spain.

I'm excited, too! I'm rooting for Switzerland, of course! And after the group stage (because that's how far we usually get ) I'll be rooting for Spain, probably.

can't believe is just a few days till it starts! i'm rooting for my country Chile obviously, but with Spain and The Netherlands is going to be quite hard to clasify (and if we do, our next match would be Brazil, so that's how far we can go ) so then i'll be rooting for Germany and i think Belgium has a really good team so it would be nice they could get a bit further.

I'm rooting for Mexico, Brazil and Germany... in that order... but I'm not really hopeful about them, I have been really unimpressed by their performances...

What I'm psyched about are the morning parties (morning in pacific time anyway)... I always loved the tense atmosphere and silence of a World Cup morning. I wish it was Friday already.

Can't wait - I am rooting for Argentina, where I lived for a couple of months and then probably Brazil...I know they are arch-rivals but still if the world cup won't go to Argentina I would love it to go to another South American team and if Argentina and Brazil won't make it my third team are Spain, the country where I currently live

Spanish team is kaput, especially Barcelona players, and with Casillas out of shape after a year without playing. The coach should have redone completely the team for this world cup.
