^What did you think of Into the Wild? I think Krakauer idealized Chris McCandless a lot. It was a bit unnerving.
I've decided to give Tana French another chance... I had read In the Woods a few years ago (I think) when it first came out and was being raved about but I think I was frustrated by the ending which made me ultimately kind of not like it... going to see if I can get past that this time as I had bought her next book a while back and the subsequent books in the series she's written are still getting great reviews.
We'll see how it goes.. I think I'm drawn back in, but who knows if that will last.
Yeah, same here. I can only do the multiple watch thing with movies. I think the only book I have re-read is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix^^I agree... it's pretty rare for me to reread something unless it's part of a series and it's been a while between books and I want to refresh my memory before jumping in again
I probably read In the Woods 4 years ago or so...? So, maybe long enough to have forgotten most of the plot points... though I am getting some vague inklings that I know what's going on.
