^What did you think of Into the Wild? I think Krakauer idealized Chris McCandless a lot. It was a bit unnerving.

I had no idea what to expect because beyond having a very vague idea of the story of Chris McCandless I didn't know what the book would be about or how it would be structured. I enjoyed it and it kept me captivated throughout but at times it seemed to drift off of the path a bit. I watched the movie this past weekend too and they really played up the story of Chris & his parents, which I found interesting because it was never harped on about as much in the book.

I enjoyed The Night Circus, I think I would recommend it... definitely transported me and made me wish that a place like that actually existed...

I've decided to give Tana French another chance... I had read In the Woods a few years ago (I think) when it first came out and was being raved about but I think I was frustrated by the ending which made me ultimately kind of not like it... going to see if I can get past that this time as I had bought her next book a while back and the subsequent books in the series she's written are still getting great reviews.

We'll see how it goes.. I think I'm drawn back in, but who knows if that will last.

I know what you mean, I felt the same. It was such a frustrating book that I'll never read it again. I much rather re-read The Secret History.

27. Saving June by Hannah Harrington- also, a great road trip book mostly for teens but it had some nice moments.

I didn't read much last month though I started reading No and Me by Delphine de Vigan, The Miseducation of Cameron Post by Emily M. Danforth and Handful of Stardust by Yvonne Whittal but I finshed none of them.

P.S. Are you guys on goodreads? I need some friends there to follow because I have no idea what else to read and it seems like I can't find anything interesting. (even though i have like 1000 books in my to read list)
