Ok Mission Spud Face did not work.. Well I didnt apply potato everyday so I kinda gave up.. Found some pantothenic acid b5 today so bought some.. Was pretty expensive for $16.95 for 60 500mg tablets.. I read that you start off taking 10 a day for 3 days and then you increase it after 3 days..Wish me luck! I hope its worth it!

Ugh, I keep on getting these under the skin spots in the same place on my right cheek. They're really painful and unsightly. It's weird because I don't get spots often although I do have blackheads on my nose, cheeks and forehead.
I've been using things like tea tree oil and this Kiehl's spot treatment on them but they don't seem to work. Does anybody have any recommendations?

I don't know if this has been discussed yet, probably, but I'll ask away. I've developed acne on my chest and back. I don't know what could have caused this. I changed my sheets, have not used a new shampoo or soap. It's really irritating me because it doesnt seem to be going away. I'm not sure what to do to get rid of it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

use vinegar!

I found a article about bacne, someone may be interested:

First, keep your skin clean and don’t allow sweat to dry off on it. After any strenuous activity that causes perspiration, take a bath. It’s advisable to wash your skin two times everyday with a mild soap and warm water.

On the affected area, apply a toner, an exfoliant and a restoring lotion. Use mild cleansers and a back scrubber to keep the affected area clean. After a shower, pat dry your skin and apply a cream that contains salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide.

Wear clean clothes during a workout or strenuous physical activity. Change the sweat soaked dress after you are done. You should put a towel over the mat or the exercise equipment before starting your workout so that additional dirt from them doesn’t affect you.

Don’t wear tight fitting clothes as they will rub the affected area and cause irritation. Wear shirts or tops made of cotton that will let your skin breathe. To keep your skin protected against further infection, wash your pillowcases, towels and sheets frequently with mild cleansers that don’t contain harsh ingredients.

Oh, and I used to have bacne really bad these days, it healed when I started exfoliating it and washing it with a herbal soup daily.

I have to go back to my doctors tomorrow as the last stuff I got hasn't worked and the swelling is back with a vengence

I would not recommend putting benzoyl peroxide on your back or chest, because it puts bleach stains on clothing.

ever since i stopped using birth control, my skin has gotten really bad from flawless. ive developed spots all over my cheek/cheekbones.. not only there, but all over my face. any recommendations on how to "fix this"? any good facial scrub recommendations?

e-ve-lina! i'm the same i have got spots all over my chin and round my mouth since coming off the pill :(, does anyone have any tips for this area?

harrietcamilla - i would recommend going to the doctors and hopefully they can prescribe you dalacin t topical solution. my problem area was my chin too and this worked miracles, and saves you spending god knows how much on different spot products and treatments. though i used it whilst changing my pill to a more skin-friendly one, but hopefully you coming off the pill shouldn't matter at all! :)

got a terrible acne lately.. for two days i've been at home crying and hiding myself.
i didnt know what to do.. i tried everything. i use expensive stuff to care for my face.

i went to drug store and bought visaxinum pills and benzacne gel. its a bit better. A BIT.

i dont now. i am heading to cyprus with my boyfriend on thursday and i got nervous all the time that i will have to show him my face without foundation..

my acne makes me miserable. so tired. fighting for so many years..

sorry for moaning.

so ive been using a routine for the past week and its really been working.
this would work best for those with oily skin in the "T" area.

morning:
Lancome creme radiance- clarifying cream to foam cleanser (normal/combination skin)
Eau Thermal Avene thermal spring water (spray)
Eau Thermal Avene redness relief soothing cream (spf 25)

night:
Lancome cleanser^
Murad Essential-C Night Moisture

the only thing that has really worked for me long term is the drug Spiro. if you are a female (males cannot use it cause it decreases testosterone) you should go to your derm and ask about it. Its been a miracle drug! i literally never brake out, and the side effects are minimal. Its not a birth control pill, and has no hormones in it, so thats def. a plus. actually, its a drug commonly used for high blood pressure, and is essentially a water pill. I really, really encourage people to check this drug out! its worth it!

so here's my bacne
I used to have it for years, really! I started to treat it about April this year.
two first pics are from 17.04., next is from 26.05. and two last are from today.

it took me about 4 months to heal it in 90%. yeah I know it's long, but I'm so happy that I can wear open-back tops ^_^
my skin is not ideal & the results are not that great, but I think that I can say that I got rid of acne :)

Hello, I use to suffer from acne until I went on antibiotics for it, now I only seem to have problems in the colder months of the year, does anyone know why this is ?

have you tried just leaving your skin alone? you've probably irritated it too much. you need to let it heal. if you're desperate enough try this acne.org holistic method where you just do nothing to your face at all. don't touch it. scratch it. wash it. don't do anything. just let a dead skin mask form and keep it on for a long time. then remove the mask and your skin should be healed underneath. after that use a gentle natural cleanser to clean your skin daily. like vinegar or yogurt.

good job! what did you treat your back with? i'm using vinegar and so far it's working pretty well. i only get a couple pimples on my back right now and that's only with about 3 weeks use. probably less than that.

I was using zinc ointment for every night (on entire bacne area) & green clay mask twice a week :flower:
