i didnt like cetaphil it just didnt make any differnce and got me more

i went to erno laszlo's counter and looked under the light and thee white bumps ive been getting apparently are white heads/.

whats the difference btw white heads, black heads ? my whiet heads are not turning into pimples tho they seem to be just THERE forever and not MOVE AWAY OR CLEAR UP! which is gross when makeup is applied that is whyyyyyyyy tomorrow im going to get Gyltone Acne and Jane Iredale mineral makeup
hope it works!

oh yeah is it good to squeeze whiteheads? i dont want big pores...but they seem to not go unless if i squeeze them?

White heads are inside your skin, black heads are "open". Never squeeze ANY zits/pimples/white- or black heads you have, acne-related or not. You will get scars and the pore will get a new infection straight away.

Have you guys ever tried apple cider vinegar to fade hyperpigmentation? I heard it works, but I haven't personally tried it. I might, though, whenever I can get my hands on some.

but its so tempting what if i get it extracted at a spa having a facial? but if the facilist help me sextract it isnt it like popping too? i mean woulod extractin g white heads or blackheads enlarge the pore size? im so paranoid with pores:blush:

If you must get them extracted, let a professional do it. But I would not recommend even those facials. I am not sure would it enlarge you pore size, I think yes, but it will not do anything good to your skin to extract them, believe me. Do you know why you are getting these white heads? I have noticed I get white/black heads if I do not drink two liters of water every day, don't eat healthily and use a lot of make-up on my skin. I think the best way to get rid of the problem is to think what causes it, not pop them or try to cover them. That is only a bad temporarily solution, though I would not call it a solution at all as it would leave a scar and infect the pore again. Or maybe you could visit a dermatologist?

Proactive is great! It helped my acne go away..Although after I stopped using it..My acne came back..And it always comes back in the same place..

Salicylic acid does not seem to work to well for me..Benzoyl peroxide is the one I like. So if you have a kind of oily face like I do, I suggest you try Benzoyl peroxide.

To help with my acne I:
Use lemon juice to fade the scars
Bought this acne scar fade cream from walmart and it worked
Exfoliate
Use tea-tree oil on my face (its in the form of a wash)
Use an oatmeal soap bar

So yep those are my tips..

i got a facial today and the facialist extracted the bumpson my skin appreantly theyre called "millia" or smth she told me its like oil and dirt trapped under it sebum or smth . but if i dont get it extracted it seems to be like there forever cause its not acne. siigh it did hurt a bit i mean a needle paiiin but nto that painful

to people with hyperpigmentation- i have this white spot my my neck and i went to check it up the doctar he told me it mite be vertilago which is freaking scarying the hell out of me. how do you know if its vertilago or hyperpigmentation?>

It is called VITILIGO, and it is not a hyperpigmentation, it is actually a lack of pigment, sorry to tell you but if it is vitiligo it is not very good news...

mm i just have congested pimples... so they are like little bumps on certain areas of the face.. and pores on my nose w/some blackheads... i use oxygenating face wash by Clerasil which so far has worked... but right now im on the pill sooo *fingers crossed*

I also found rosehip oil is good for the skin :)

that's right, I've just read an article about it and it said that the only way to get rid of it is skin transplantation.

^i'm sure you have heard of it, it's also called skin grafts.

^that's my fault, i didn't know another english word for it, sorry:flower:

BTW: what's the difference between grafts and transplantations?
