No you're not! I'm going to win. I have had pimples on my breasts and more recently between my leg & vagina. And they're huge!!

I've had them too! So you did not win ;)

Mk, at least in my case they are real zits.

I've found that going to the sauna really helps your skin. I didn't think it would work so much but I underestimated the power of a good steam.

I agree, it does help. Which reminds me that I missed sauna this Friday, dammit.

i use benzamycin twice a day along with Juice Beauty blemish control and moisturizer. i did use proactiv a few years back but grew immune to it quickly. as well, i took tetracycline twice a day before switching to benzamycin. my face has been awesome for the past few months but its a result of my hormones finally settling down i think (im not 100% on this and im not going to chance it by not using the benzamycin.) 7 years of horror and now im free!:p

i don't know if this has already been brought up with the other day i saw an infomercial on Murad's ance complex. has anyone here tried this?

MK, if they're not pimples, I don't know what they are. They do have pus like pimples, and hurt very badly. But they go away (thank goodness because you can't imagine bras rubbing against the pimples).

my antibioticum works, i am so happy´:woot:
my back is almost clean, only a few scars are left, same on the chest and face (i wish i could leave my hands out of my face, d'oh:doh: )

Quick question, if I have very acne-prone skin, will aloe vera lotion make me break out (on my face, specifically)?

Due to my overuse of products:doh: my skin is on fire...ahh!!

Does anyone know a good fix for cheek acne? I hate it. I get huge red spots right on my cheek that stay there for ages. Help!

Hello everyone, last summer, NYC was subjected to an unbelievable heat streak, and as NYC dealt with the sweltering temperature, i dealt with moderate papules (white heads) on my cheeks and chin, basically all over my face. It wasnt until the doctor gave me Retin A in the 0.05 concentration that my skin cleared up, while it isnt flawless, it is clear, and i am more confident. Retin A is great for moderate acne, people with that problem should try it.

LET ME TELL YOU, do not use aloe vera lotion with masques, and other products, it will irritate your skin to hell, literally. DONT! If you must use the aloe vera, get rid of the many products you use, lower the amount of items to maybe a cleanser, mosturizer, and whatever your dermatologist recommended. That is what i did, and my face stopped burning when I used aloe vera. It is very normal for one's face to burn when you use too many products.

Cetaphil hasn't been working for me lately, so I changed to Clean and Clear oxygeniating cleanser and it works like a charm!!! My skin is squeaky clean...

Go to the doctor straight away if you have them in that part of the body. It could be something else...

From my experience (but I could be wrong), pimples grown on dry skin takes a bloody long time to go away. And by that time, the scar comes and stays for a long time.

As a result, when I have breakouts, I always wish they would be on my t-zones because they disappear faster.

I am nursing one on my cheek now. It was there for a couple of weeks (I made the mistake of leaving there for too long) and then I did exfoliating peels, hydrating masks followed by Neutrogena's BHA peel (can't remember the exact name off hand) on alternate days. It did dry up the pimple and now it's half gone. It used to be really big and liver-red.

As I said, only half the battle won. Now the scar, argh.

Are you hug red spots painful? If so then I think the pimple is really deep and can't really go away with external solutions. You need to see a dermatologist and take some oral antibiotics...

When I'm sick I get these strange deep pimples, from the outside they are only a bit bumpy and red, but oh my gosh, they hurt a lot. I got them when I had a terrible cold and for me the best way to get rid of them was the following:
1. I had three of them and stupid as I am I tried to squeeze 2 of them -> I am still trying to get rid of the marks so (I can't say it often enough) DON'T TRY TO POP THEM!

2. I dried them out with a special Chinese mixture I bought in Amsterdam and lemon juice. When they dried out I put some baby cream on the left-overs of the zits (the one you buy for the bottom of babys, it has zinc in them which will help to get rid of the infection faster but also some other stuff that make the skin softer, so the skin peels faster and easier).

It's nice to know I'm not alone in this battle! ^_^
Yeah, I've been doing the peel/mask routine as well and the redness has been going down. As for the scar I have some really great bleaching cream (thanks to my derm) that I can use on it to help clear it up faster.
I hope your skin clears up soon!

Has anyone ever had "blue light" therapy to treat their acne? If so, did it work? I'm thinking about going in for six sessions (2x per week, for 3 weeks), to clear up my breakouts.
