ok i dont know if this is pimple or not ive been getting white small spots...theyre not white theyre not anty color but BUMPY small BUMPS and its only visible under light....whats that? how can i get rid of it? also im getting big pimples beside my nose it hurts so much and its not growing yet but how cn i save it from going red!!!! Cetaphil doesnt seem to work for me =( i dont know...imma try PUREEL alchola hand cleanser to get the bacteria off for now...what do yout hink..?

alcohol will most likely make acne prone skin worse and more irritated. and i would imagine purell to be waaaay too strong and full of alcohol to go anywhere near your face. i would just recommend visiting acne.org and checking out 'the regimen' it works for majority of the people who use it and for those who its doesn't work for, not a lot of negatibe side effects have been reported, unless of course, you're allergic to benzol peroxide

I'm thinking of trying that skintactix stuff like someone mentioned a few pages back. I searched skintactix on the acne.org forums, and the people who have tried it seem to agree that it's effective...

OMG!!! NO NO NO!!! you CANNOT use a soap with alcohol in it on ur face!! itll only dry your face, and ur body will produce more oil to compensate..leading to MORE INFECTIONS..... why not just buy a cleanser and moisuriser with salycilic acid in it, s well as maybe a sort of mask especially made to treat acne and spot treat the breakouts around ur nose with it? check out this website....

oopsies! i thot it would kill the bacteria or germs = =" hahaha since its like a sanitizer.. i agree it does irritate my skin more...i use cetaphil but it doesnt seem to work as well on me =( i have a bad liver too and my horomones are sorta messed up i guess. im going to see a derma to see what i can do since i have dry skin and small acnes...

question tho, why will it make it worse and get more infections?

^ Don't use Vaseline on your face as it will block your pores and give you acne....

PS: You could break a vitamin E capsule and rub it on your skin as a moisteriser

if you overdry your skin, it will overcompensate for the dryness by producing more oil..more oil= more probability of blocked pores; and as we all know, blocked pores=ACNE!!!!

oh no!! vitamin e oil wont clog your pores, a)because your not drowning ur skin it and, b) because its absorbed by your skin...vasiline wont clog your pores per say..its only the the biproduct of refining petroleum..but its viscosity and its properties of attracting dirt and grime can only reak havoc on ur skin!

so, vitamin e oil= ...petroleum jelly=

Hello, it was me that suggested it. I meant buy a bottle of Vitamin E capsules from the pharmacy and break one capsule open with scissors and use that oil to rub on your face every night.

Okay I will buy a bottle of the capsules...BUT I saw when I was shopiing a mini bottle of Jameson pur oil vitamin E oil with a brush in it. Do you know if its the same as the capsules?

Capsules are better because you know they are pure.

Don't use a brush on your face, especially when you have sensitive skin.

If you have no more acne and only acne scars left, then use the vitamin E capsule I recommend. After you clean your skin, rub on the oil for 5 minutes all over your face then leave it on over night. At the day time you could rub the oil on for 5 minutes and leave it on then before you go out wash it out and moisterise your face because dry skin will make your acne scars worse.

so yesturday I went and bought Spectro wash for Combination skin, Benzoyol peroxide cream. I wanted to buy a moisturizer like aveda that Tyra Banks suggested lol. But my stores don't carry it! so i'll go with the vit. E...wish me luck !
