The Acne Thread

If I go to the doctor about my bad skin, would it help because I am 13 and my skin isn't that bad to go to a dermatologist.

I have bumps on red marks from old zits on my chin...and forhead and a bit on the cheeks ( the cheeks just redness :( )
someone here told me that vitamin E will help the redness but it takes 6 weeks to work,... is there anything can will give quicker results?

I went for a facial hoping the facialist would take out the blackheads on my nose and she couldn't get them all :(

I can honestly say, guys, that my skin looks so much better since I quit using proactiv. I mean, ALOT better. I still break out a bit, but not nearly as much and my face no longer is raw looking.

ive been using stella mccartney products. the foaming cleanser, and the nourishing elixir and pop a vitamin e capsule all over my face and a lot of my blemishes have been fading and pimples are no more. i know the vitamin e workks, but i was using it with a diff cleanser and it really didnt do much til now! so yay stella

I completely agree with you on this. ProActiv actually GAVE me skin issues. I only started to use it to clear up the occasional zit...and was I sorry that I did!

PS- I also live in Charlotte, modelbehavior. :flower:

Still no luck with the comedones on my forehead. It probably doesn't help that my forehead is so hairy.

I'm so happy! I went to the derm and started using the stuff a month or so ago and yesterday my best friend went "Hey, your forehead looks so much better!" I was SOOOOOOOO psyched :D

Can someone help me out?
I have this bump on my chin and I usually get those and I think they are some kind of puss thing, they grow to a huge red spot.
What do I do to the bump? Do I put some kind of stuff on it? Help!

Did someone tried aveda products or facial treatments?
I always go to a certain beautician, but I think my skin is sensitive for those products.
