^ Do you have hyperpigmentation blotches? I have heard and read that microdermabrasion helps and the Olay one appears to be popular. I haven't tried it, but plan to if nothing else works.

I used to use a 10% benzoyl peroxide cream and it did not do that... Then again, my skin is extremely oily and it only dried out my skin if I had a bad spot along my jawline (even when I did use moisturiser). Everywhere else was fine. It did sting a little, but it did not burn me or make me look like I had eczema all over my face.

That's what I use. But I only use it directly on my worst breakout areas and on the pimples themselves.

Can someone recomend something to even out my skin tone?

My dermatologist recommended microderm. I used to get it done and I definitely noticed a difference.

Has anyone tried Klaron lotion? I went to my derm yesterday to have a mole looked at and mentioned that I was experiencing some mild breakouts (I'm 27). He suggested I try Klaron lotion because it's nondrying and effective for adults. I used it last night and my skin feels super soft. And the reviews I've read online have been glowing. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has experience with it? Thanks!

You might want to check over on MakeupAlley.com I'm sure there are a lot of reviews over there. I have heard mixed bag reviews as far as Murad products go.

Hi. I used Dr Murad's Post-Acne Spot Lightening Gel, and wasn't pleased with it, but I wasn't very regular. I assume that there are better options than this one

I'm currently using Murad Post Acne Spot Lightening Gel, and I'm pretty good about applying it every evening. I'd say the results are not overwhelming, although I did not give the spots much time to disappear on their own. The gel is expensive and doesn't make enough of a difference to merit the price. I think that my skin would probably have improved as much as it has with or without the gel. I don't think I'd recommend it.

can you recommend something simiral that you tried?the murad gel has hydroquinone in it which is incredible at removing sun spots so i thought it would be good..:(

^A few pages ago I went on a rant about SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Gel because I think it has really helped. Also expensive, but with fewer chemicals, and good for use on your whole face. It's definitely made my skin more even-toned as a whole.

I asked for Zeno for christmas! I really hope I get it because Im getting a huge underskin bump on my chin!!

i heard it can get quite expensive even after buying the machine.

you can only zap so many times then you have to buy more which is about 30dollars or something.

Benzoyl Peroxide will only give you lines if you don't moisturise.

The lines are a result of dehydrated and dry skin. As long as you use a decent moisturiser, you'll be fine.

Also, make sure you only use 2.5%. Anything more will fry your skin to a crisp - ouch!

Dry skin doesnt create wrinkles or lines, just so you know:innocent:, u will not get older by using this product even if not using a moisturiser.

If u have dry skin coz of this product it only makes u look older, coz dry skin looks older and lines become more visible then!

I would recomend maybe Diane-35(birth control pills) that reduces the oil-production. If u stop with Benzyol peroxide, the acne will come back...so using something like (Diane-35) is easier to use coz there arent in most cases any side-effects on your face,( like dry skin etc).

I have the Zeno. It works really well but you need to catch it early and I've zapped mine more than the 2 times they recommend.

What to never use:
Clarin beauty flash balm.

I'm telling you right now it clogs your pores!! Big time!!
Its ok if you use it as a mask but if you use it as a makeup primer DONT it clogs your pores reall really badly!!

patricia wexler glycolic acid peels (once daily) - my skin always looks great when i use this.... i'm typically acne prone - i get at least two or three at any given point and tend to hyperpigment....
