The Asprin and Honey Mask for Acne AMAZING

Ok have you gals ever heard of the Aspirin and Honey Mask? You take uncoated aspirin like around 5 or 6 put a tiny amount of water in mix it up till its a paste then add a tiny amount of honey. Put it on your face for 15 mins and wash it off. Do this every other day and I SWEAR it clears your skin right up and it feels SUPER NICE!! Ive tried it all ladies... Retin A, Retin A micro, DoryX pills, Tazorac cream.. the list goes on seriously.. Ive been struggling for years!!! and now I went on acne.org and read all these reviews on this mask and every single person goes crazy over it! it works!!!! you all should try it at least once. I just had my friend do it with me and she loves it so much.. So cooling..

i suppose it works...aspirin contains acetylsalicylic acid...an inventive way for it's use though

I have used almost all moisturizers that I know if, and I have still not found one which doesn't break out my skin. Right now I use Dermalogica active moist but it does nothing for my skin. I know I have to use a extremely light cream, but I can't find one who is "light enough". Anyone who have a similar problem or know a good moisturizer?

Yeah, laser is the only real way to get rid of broken capilliaries but I have found success with sunscreen and gentle care of facial skin. They are around my nose and easily coverable with makeup but I just wish they weren't there, you know what I mean?

same here! I have some around the nose too! I kept hoping to get rid of them for long, but I guess I can forget that

I have one on my cheek...Not noticeable unless I puff my face like a blowfish :p I've never steamed my face either...Are they hereditary, or are there other factors which cause them?

I also would love to know how to get rid of flesh coloured bumps (which look like congested skin) around my cheeks...I think they may be casued by hormonal factors - but is there any remedy which can get rid of them quickly? I really don't like having/the look of bumpy skin :( I cleanse my face daily and have a good skin care regime, so I don't know why I still keep getting this condition...

I think for me it was a too harsh anti-acne treatment. thinking back upon it I would never do it again, it has done more bad things to my face than good things...

Mine look like congested skin too, and some are skin coloured and some red. I have a pretty good skin care regime too but more keep appearing, I don't know if mine are because of a certain product because I have introduced a few new ones to my routine recently, I don't know what to do :(

I went off the pill exactly a week ago. So far I feel great except my skin is breaking out! Before I went on the pill I'd been having skin problems for years (I was on Accutane twice). When I went on it it was clear until I was a few days away from my period and I'd get a pimple or two.

What would you recommend I do? I'm away at college right now so I can't visit my dermatologist for awhile. What washes/other skincare items can I buy in drugstores to help me during this time? I've been using N.V. Perricone M.D. Vitamin C Ester Citrus Facial Wash that I got from Sephora, but that's pretty much the only thing I use. I don't use a toner or anything. I'm kind of clueless when it comes to what to do cause birth control made me lazy with my skin! Help! :(

^ i recommend dr. hauschka, all the way! the cream cleanser, the toner, and the rose day light moisturizer.

Hey guys. I've got a question.

I have oily skin with acne. I went to the shop, and the seller adviced me to use DECLEOR's products(LOTION MATIFIANTE and MASQUE PURIFIANT REGULATEUR).
What do u think about those DECLEOR products for that kind of skin? do u advice me to buy them?

thanks! :flower:

Moisturizers prevent water from naturally evaporating from your skin and thus keep the skin soft, flexible and feeling great. You can read more about skin moisturizing in this moisturizing post.

The answer to your second question is NO. Moisturizing will not help to clear/prevent acne. In fact, sometimes ingredients in moisturizers will cause acne. Don't worry :o you can make a good moisturizer that will not cause acne.

It is still helpful for people with oily skin to apply moisturizers. Skin ingredients like petrolatum, fatty alcohols and other moisturizers work better than your body's natural oil (sometimes science is better than nature). Your best bet is to wash your oily face and then replace the natural oil with a moisturizing product. Your skin will love you for it.
I have to disagree again with you :ninja: I feel when I moisturise I rarely get any zits when I went through this period of not moisturising at all
You should have seen my skin =

i found a miracle acne treatment at a random store in Korea, while on vacation. The store is called "innis free" - and they sell sheets of "anti-stress patches" which are for pimples. I've tried EVERYTHING with my skin, and this stuff is amazing.
