The Acne Thread

^ That's what I think about. There are lots of people out there who have it so much worse...it still sucks when you're dealing with it yourself, but that helps I think.

ugh, seriously carly. why now? haha

and yeah you're probably right sav. i just wish it would go away. i guess i should just be grateful because its not as bad as it could be.

I know, I had a cry about it today  it's something that really gets me down though. My mom always reassures me, telling me theres people whos worser off than me, bless her.

Im making an appointment with the docs tomorrow.

whenever my skin is really bad i always just want to keep cleaning it! so try refrain from that because it will only make it worse.. Make sure your doctor listens to you because they dont always give a solution

yeah i cried about it too today! and how weird is it that my mom also made an appoitment for me? hhaha

but yeah, we just have to keep in mind, " it is not as bad as it could be"
as hard as that may be...:p

oh and thank you for the advice mk:)
is twice a day too much or is that okay?

no twice is ok but sometimes i have just kept washing and then my skin is worse.. but even now i wash my face twice in a row just to make sure its clean because i wear makeup

i hate those underground pimple(or pimple bump i like to call them) you get once in awhile
is they are faster way to get rid of them ?
or do i have to wait like two weeks for them to disappear

p.s when i do get a pimple bump its on my chin
thankgoodness its not a daily recurrence but like once or twice a year?
ewww

thats called a cystic pimple and im having problems with it too. More often than you.

i have a couple aroung my jaw line and its annoying. Theyre very difficult to get rid off because products cant seem to get that deep into the skin and if you try to push it out you will damage the skin and leave a nasty scar as a reminder of what used to be there.

If you only have to wait 2 weeks for them to disappear then you're lucky! I still have some on my jawline since before Christmas.

My skin is back to being pretty awful,I think though it has been exacerbated by getting hardly any sleep

Thanks guys, it's good to be able to tell people whos feeling the same :flower:

My appointment is at 4:30, but I think I know whats causing this breakout (theres also little pimples at the side of my mouth too) Im pretty sure it's Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser as I've only had these spots ever since I've been using this.

Im still gonna goto the docs and make sure he prescribes me with something and not use the cleanser.

guys, search for a derm near u that can perform Isolaze Im telling u its amazing
I never saw such immediate long lasting results with anything like this.

Back from the docs and he gave me some antibiotics - Erythromycin. Has anyone tried this?

Yes, I used to work for a dermatologist and it did work for a lot of people. I would not use that ultra calming cleanser anymore and switch to the dermal clay one. Its amazing for acne skin. Are you oily? I am an Esthetician and specialize in acne...I know every skin care line and will help you choose the right products for your skin. It gets worse sometimes before it gets better but its crucial you get extractions when acne starts coming up. You need to get rid of the bacteria in the skin in order to get rid of the acne. If anyone has any questions please ask away;) this is my specialty!

okay, what can you say about Isolaze? should I have another session?

I have a big under the skin spot atm....any ideas people..my skin is really good atm but this hurts and i'm meant to be meeting the boyf's entire fam in a week :S
