The City

MTV lists all the songs from the show. You just go to Shows, click which one you want and at the bottom they are listed exactly when they show up.

In defense of Olivia. I get why she would be peeved about Whitney asking her to show her boss the look book. Olivia is in accessories. It seems like when Whitney wants a favor from or to capitalize on her connection with Olivia she is nice and sweet to her but when she doesn't get it then she gets upset. I know she's been living in the MTV reality realm for awhile now but seriously she's acting like a spoiled brat. Kelly needs to get over it too. I mean is Kelly going to freak out when everyone doesn't play ball with Whitney? Come on. And it's not like we're talking a huge venue. Elle.com isn't mecca. When Olivia is saying she isn't going to apart of the discussion when Whitney confronts her, sorry but what person would want to sit there and be called a bi**h by someone and have to rationalize why you don't like their crap a** fashion line? I'd walked out too. I will say that Olivia needs to be better prepared for her interviews and be a better team player she makes too many excuses. That was a disgrace.

Are the "Elle offices" @UK or USA?
I mean, in the "reality" where are they supposed to be?

^ Elle is all over the world, but the offices you see in the show are at Broadway and 50th Street in Manhattan... ;)

^Lol, thanks! hahaha
But I remember to have seen in previous episodes that Olivia was moving to the Elle UK offices, but I'm not sure:doh:
At least, the Manhattan location explains perfectly how Olivia managed to see Whitney so quickly:blush:

I think in season 2 she got the opportunity to go to the London offices, but she is in New York.

I'm still not sure what the point was of Joe sending Olivia to lunch with Whitney. Can you imagine Anna Wintour sending an assistant out to smooth things over with some no-name fledgling designer?

I'm curious what other ways they will find to force Olivia into Whitney's company. Adam Divello-- the producer for The Hills and the City-- knows how to pick at a scab.

There is no way a magazine like Elle would fight the corner of a fledgling designer like they have done for the Whitney Eve collection unless there is something in it for them. It is possibly in the contract with MTV that Elle have to support and promote the collection in order to get featured on the programe. Designers have to work so hard to get in a magazine and Whitney has made it look like anyone who designs a collection can do it. This is a bad representation of the industry and how difficult it is to crack. I still maintain that the Whitney Eve collection is financed by MTV and they will get a huge percentage of the sales.

same for me.and don't forget Kelly Cutrone's People Revolution...wich is clearly interested in all this publicity!i really can't believe that someone would spontaneously support that collection!

^ The good thing is, like most of these silly things, her line will be all but forgotten in a few months.... I mean- how many of these synthetic, fabricated, celeb driven things really last at all?? ;)

Olivia seems like such a child sometimes. She is afraid of confrontation, so controlled. I am expecting her to snap soon. She can dish it out but can't take it. I feel sorry for her.

^^ Its never the ''appropriate environment'' for a confrontation with Olivia

^ Maybe lunch at the Four Seasons at the table next to Richard Johnson from Page Six....!

Well to be fair, once someone calls you a b!tch is there more to say to them? Olivia is smart to leave so she doesn't end up looking like one of the Real Housewives of New Jersey screaming and throwing furniture and such. I think its more mature to walk away than get fired up or end up crying over lunch.

I'll bet Olivia has more guy friends than girls. She seemed to handle the criticism from Joe well but doesn't tolerate it from Erin or Olivia.

That was exactly my point as well. Why sit there and let someone call you a b*tch? If Whitney hadn't said that and Olivia still walked away then I would see the point that she can't take it. I agree about Joe/Erin criticism.

would smn have a link to episode 4 for non us viewers ? thank you very much in advance :flower:

Olivia makes me chuckle sometimes. I love her and her style but when someone confronts her and she does not like how the conversation is going she always says ' I am not having this conversation right now' then walks away (or that is how MTV makes it look.) She did this to Whitney and Erin. LOL
