I think Gigi did not have enough blue chip campaigns this year to get #1 spot... I thought Rianne would be ranked higher though!

I have a question regarding the #2 spot for Karlie Kloss. I know she has plenty of big contracts with L'Oréal, Adidas etc but fashion wise, she only gets B/C-lists campaigns and covers nowadays, and almost no editorials. I don't think she deserves to be ranked this high. Could you please detail where the 2nd place is coming from? TIA

For Karlie, consistency helps keep her in the Top 10.

Major contracts: L'Oreal, Chanel Fragrance, Swarovski, etc.

Campaigns (lots of major commercial work Versace, Carolina Herrera, Topshop, Kurt Geiger, Liu-Jo, Joe Fresh, Marella, DVF, Mango, Barney's, Express.

Regular editorials in Vogue US, Some okay covers (Vogue Mexico, Vogue Russia, W Korea, etc.)

Without her contracts, Karlie would be ranked somewhere in the #30s. With them, she's always in the Top 10.

.....I don't think so!!!! Say what you want about Gigi, but she is the modern-day Super; she is EVERYWHERE!!! With her current campaign/contract roster and 3 Vogue covers (and counting) for March, I'm sure if MDC still numerically ranked Top 50, she would be #1 for sure.
