I tried to watch this show, but it is so melodramatic. I turned off after 15 minutes and had the urge to throw my remote control at all of the lead 'actresses'. Bravura performances, they are not.

Spencer, once again, was a total dope.

I liked Lauren's outfit when she met up with Heidi's sister

Even though I hate to admit it I think it would be cute if Heidi and Lauren became friends again, as long as Heidi lost the dirt bag. They really do seem to miss each other. Who knows maybe they will be friendly again in the future.

Lauren was on Extra TV and Mario Lopez asked if there was any chance that they'd be friends again after that episode where Holly talked to Lauren and Lauren said no. I think she's moved on. And I'm glad. Heidi really went too far. I'd lose respect for Lauren if she became friends with Heidi again, especially after all the trash she talked about her.

I thought so too! Isn't Whitney suppose to move to New York and get her own show? 'Cause I've been looking forward to it ever since the news broke.

I say its time to end the show. Really theres only so much more of Spencer I can take. All he talks about is how much he hates 'LC' and that whomever talks to her is no longer his friend. Same with Heidi! One minute she talks about how she misses Lauren, and the next she gets mad at Holly for having lunch with her? Not only are they irritating, they serve no purpose on the show other than to be bother me to no end.

The decision seems to stem from Audrina's inability to get along with LC's best friend, Lo.

i highly doubt there will be another season. it's getting to be the same thing, because these are people who now aren't even playing their lives because there lives are mostly immersed in media and celebrity. i think they'll move on.

I'll always love the Hills just because I rather watch someone else's drama than deal with my own sometimes even if it's fake for the most part.

But, I think it's time to end the series, I'm getting too sick of Spencer and Heidi.
They ruin the show for me.

I will always love the hills and I want a 5th and finale season even if it is much shorter like 10-12 epi like the first two seasons.

Source confirm to E! News that MTV is officially spinning off The Hills into Whitney Port’s own reality TV series.
Emily Brill, the 20-something daughter of Steve Brill, the founder of Court TV (now known as TruTV), blogged about the news last week.
She wrote, “Last night, MTV’s The City (The Hills spinoff starring Whitney Port) shot a dinner party scene at [socialite] Olivia Palermo’s apartment. Participants included Whitney, Whitney’s boyfriend and Olivia Palermo.”
The City, which will follow Whitney working for Diane von Furstenberg in NYC, is set to begin airing in early 2009.

Lauren is acting like a baby and it really starts to get on my nerves.Stephanie can do whatever she wants,if she wants to go on a date with Doug that's alright.I mean Lauren told Doug that she wanted to be friend with him,so what's the problem here ?

But I do think she should have asked Lauren directly or at least let her know about it before goin' out .. but that's all.Doug is not her property,(as far as know) !

Heidi and Spencer are pissing me off and so is Audrina (they are useless and boring).The thing is, if Lauren decides not to do a season 5,than the show should stop period.It's Lauren's show.All the people (minus Whitney) who are a part of it ,are in it because they were kind of related to Lauren.So I think The Hills should stop if Lauren leaves.

I thought it was funny that Lauren's gone for a bit, but the entire cast has to keep mentioning her - hell, even Heidi and Spencer have to talk about her - to stay relevant on the show.

lady B - I don't think Lauren's angry with Stephanie. She even defended her against Brody when Brody was saying how ShePratt is not trustworthy. She said "What about Doug?"

Jessi summed it up best on the aftershow - saying that this "business date" or "dinner date" probably consisted of them discussing how they could get more screen time on the show.

It's like all these people are doing these random things to try to get Lauren riled up b/c a pissed off Lauren = good tv. They want this to be Jenn Bunney #2. This time though, I don't think it'll work. She's seeing chilling with Stephanie in the previews for the next epi and consoling her.

I'm glad she and Lo stayed quiet when Audrina gleefully told them that she went out with Speidi the next day. You know Audrina was hoping they'd say something so she could be the "victim" yet again in this episode. I hate that Audrina acts like she was forced to be around Heidi when she talks to Lauren. So fake!

Brody's mom looked scary. That's what too much plastic surgery and botox can do to your face.

The funniest was the previews for the next episode: Is Heidi's mom trying to get into the entertainment business as well? LMAO at her crocodile tears. I died. This is the same woman that prances around with her daughter and is excited to be in all those dumb*** staged pics and tells the press that she adores Spencer. And Doug calling Stephanie a "lost puppy?" So messed up.

I personally do not think that Steph should have gone on a date with Doug. I mean there are tons of guys in LA like Doug, you should not date your friend ex especially when it is so soon after their break up and when they are out of town. It looks shady. However, I dont see it as a big deal (even less so then the Jenn incident) since Lauren clearly broke up with him. I dont think Lauren will make a big deal out of it since she is seen with She Pratt in next week epi.

Audrina is the worst character on The Hills. I really hope I see little scenes with her and the Laurens once she moves out. Since when was she such good friend with Heidi. Did she not recall Heidi calling her all sorts of names when Spencer was using her to make Heidi jealous in Season 2, ugh.

Love the fact the Lauren is beyond caring about her *** though... Lauren look to Lo when Audrina casually announced her double date with Speidi was priceless.

Brody's mom was all kinds of scary and I still love Justin Bobby and Brody

i think it's ridiculous the beginning of each show basically foreshadows (in a very-unsubtle.. manner) what's going to happen in that episode.

they're lives are ridiculous. lauren: italy, phoneless. audrina: tanning, strawberry mojitos all weekend. nymag's review is spot on... these girls are NOT connected with the averager of the 'outside' world.
