she picked jason, which was total crap, but then, whitney got to go to paris, which was a much better outcome, whitney deserves it 10-fold over lauren. I don't get it, she interns at Vogue, goes to fashion school, and doesn't know who Hamish Bowles is? Give me a break.

Here's my take..I'll put it in white for anyone who hasn't seen it yet:
That's foolish, foolish girl...did she not realize how many girls in the industry would have given ANYTHING for a summer in Paris? And she gave it up for JASON?? The guy that cheated on her and treats her like dirt 50% of the time? What a mistake, what a huge mistake...

Here's my take on it... it was so staged:
Her 'leaving' (to go to Jason's) was so staged.
I hate how Heidi was like: "Oh, your taking that purse with you"!? "Call me when you get there".
Obviously they fed her those lines... who would say that when traveling to the next town over?
And they must have asked her to dress up too (to seem like she was headed to Paris)... b/c if I'm moving to the beach, I'm not wearing pearls and heels.

He said that he would support her no matter what, and if their relationship was as strong as she thought, he would have been there for her when she got back. If not, he wasn't worth it anyway! I hope she doesn't look back on this years from now and regret it.
To Vogue, Whitney now looks like the one who is most serious about her career.

He said that he would support her no matter what, and if their relationship was as strong as she thought, he would have been there for her when she got back. If not, he wasn't worth it anyway! I hope she doesn't look back on this years from now and regret it.

This show is so not real that it wouldn't really surprise me if Lauren didn't really have the option to go to Paris, if it was just a pretend situation for the show. I mean, come on, Lauren never seemed to be shining at her job, why in the world would they pick her to go to Paris in the first place?? It's all a sham

I saw it last night. I thought it was good for the season finale. I heard that there will be a season 2. Does anyone know if that is true? I actually liked the ending. I'm sure that Lauren will do well in the fashion industry. I really liked her outfits yesterday. She has such a classic style.

I love Lauren, Audrina and Heidi but I dont like Whitney. Do they have plans to do Hills 2? I'm so sad its over.

So, was it actually confirmed that Whitney got the job in Paris or was she flying to NY, where they originally offered her a job? If the Paris job was for real, I think Lauren missed out on the opportunity of a lifetime!
But then again, that article posted by NOE might be true as well, and it might have been staged for the show.
Also, geeeez how rich is Jason? Fancy car, fancy gifts, and a humongous house on the beach in Malibu!!! They never mentioned anything about his job on the show....I wouldn't be suprised if he didn't even have one

"'The Hills' took our audience on an exciting ride told through the eyes of four young ladies trying to survive in L.A.," says Lois Curren, MTV's head of programming. The show ends its first season on Wednesday. New episodes of "The Hills" are expected to roll out early next year.
