The Hills

^ Yeah Whitney was definitely an intern for quite awhile which is part of the reason she was so bored last season and kept saying that she was ready for more responsibility and was ready to be more than an intern. Lauren even told her that she didn't need to steam the clothes because she knew Whitney had done more than enough steaming in her days. I think Whitney is like 1-2 yrs older than Lauren.

Anyway, I would just really like to see more of Lauren and Whitney at Teen Vogue and get an impression of what it is really like there for them. I love the show but miss the behind the scenes fashion portion of it.

So do I! :( but it does look like we'll get what we're wishing for when they fly them to New York. I think since Heidi isn't around Lauren anymore, her and Spencer take up more of the show time. Thus, less time for poor Whitney.

They were working backstage at a fashion show in the preview, so it looks like we will be getting our fashion fix in the next show.

I know, I thought the show was supposed to be focused on Lauren's life in The Hills. It's seems like the show is less and less about her work and school. I really want to see more of Lauren and Whitney in the Teen Vogue offices as well as her in classes at FIDM.

I know that Whitney does not wish to have a bigger role on the show.

But, yeah... I think it is very weird that you never hear anything about FIDM

^Yeah that is weird! They haven't shown anything about school since like.. season 1? I think.

The more I watch the show, The more staged and fake it seems. Now that its so popular and the cast is being watched outside the show its like they are faking whats going on in their lives so they wont give away the plot of the show. I bet Spencer and Heidi already broke up.

the last 2 sets of "candids" i seen heidi was without spencer..............................

but maybe he was working

and by working, i mean sitting in his apartment with his laptop talking on the phone.

it does seem more and more staged and fake even though I still like to watch it, but Season 1 had something more real to it (maybe because they showed them at work & school more) now it's about going to a bar or club every other night and not much else in between  except for Speidi that is.

When Spencer and Heidi were having their anniversary dinner, their dialogue..their expressions..it all seemed really fake to me..I was also thinking that maybe they're not really engaged..on another note, if it is real, and Spencer hasn't told his parents he's getting married..if I were in Heid's place, it would be really weird for the entire world to know that my boyfriend doesn't want to tell his parents he's marrying me!!

Plus that, if my parents saw the show and saw that a boy was treating me the way Spencer treats Heidi, they would fly out, have an intervention, and get me away from that guys. He becomes more and more pscologically abuseive each episode.

I agree with what you all are saying-I've thought the same thing. Everything seems so staged--the dialogue especially. Plus the voice-overs drive me crazy-they're not very subtle. It's always noticable that they are dubbing something in.

The Spencer and Heidi scenes are the only ones that seem majorly staged to me. The relationship between the other people in the cast like Lauren and Whitney and LAuren and Lo seem genuine.

more like every night..

What I don't get it this- are Spencer's parents living under a rock? Make that a massive boulder! I mean, they are all over the tv and the magazines. You think that even if his parents don't watch Entertainment Tonight or MTV or read US Weekly that someone in their town, neighborhood, family, or something would tell them that their son got engaged! It makes ZERO sense.

This is what TMZ wrote about it.

A Couple of Boobs at a Pumpkin Patch

There's nothing like a staged photo-op designed to look like a candid moment, that in reality shows off what losers you truly are!

Still in need of a frightening Halloween costume? How about going as one of these two fame wh*re cheeseballs? Better act quick, they won't be around for long!
