Hi dorien

The eye makeup reminds me of the Painterly MAC collection poster..
In the picture below Mac paint post are used. I think if you use a thin hard brush you can emulate the black makeup.

Does anyone have an idea of a lip shade that would come close to the models lip color that goes with this bright peach? Sorry about the the resolution; best I could do with source photo

I found how to do it on Saturday: It took a blend of Estee Lauder Pure Color Nectarine and Autumn to achieve this effect. Until BIGI rolls around I am still looking for one lipshade!

How does one achieve the dewy, glossy look without looking shiny and shimmery?

A highlighter! You just dab it on and blend it on the cheekbones, brow bones, inner corners of the eyes, wherever you want a little glow. I personally like NARS' Albatross (compact powder), but MAC Vanilla pigment (loose powder), BeneFit's Moon Beam (liquid), etc. all work pretty well.

Spray a fine mist of water or toner on your face after applying makeup. It helps the makeup settle, and your skin look poreless. I used to steal BF's Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner, it was so great...but then he ran out, wonder why

I remember reading somewhere that lightly dabbing a mousturizing masque on cheekbones and other places to be highlighted is great for day - nice sheen, no shimmer.

Oh thank you very much! ^

With regard for the water misting, doesn't that cause the makeup to run? Do you just lightly mist then let air dry?

Of course you spray lightly from a distance...I don't use water though, I find Dermalogica's Multi-Active Toner much better. I think MAC has some great stuff too

Can anyone figure out the colors used for this eye makeup? Is it blues? Purples? Browns?
