The How Do I Get This Look? Thread

^There might be a baby pink blush on the cheeks as well such as MAC Well Dressed

I'm a m/u artist and if I was gonna do that eye on someone:
- Nude or flesh tone shade all over the lid(or just base or foundation)
-Use a soft crease brush to add in some dark brown gradually in the crease and over V
-Use a liner brush and smudge dark brown along the upper and lower lashline
-mascara on top and bottom lashes
-line the upper waterline in black
-then a bone shade on the inner corners and along the browbone
-contour the cheeks, temple, and under the jawline
-use a matte petal pink blush
-then either mute out the lips with base/foundation or a pale non-shimmery pale pink

Been in love with this Emma Stone look since I first saw it. I have green-blue eyes too and I love wearing purples and berry shades on my eyes.

I saw on her thread that everyone was loving this look too so I tried it out. I used MAC Cranberry mixed with MUD Vineyard on the inner corner, MAC Parfait Amour and MUD Voodoo on the over corner. Then I used black liner on the water line and black mascara.

My sister's going to prom and I think this would look really beautiful on her. Does anybody have suggestions for good products? Thanks in advance :flower:

Edit: And also something to help smooth her skin? :D

Medium brown matte eyeshadow (MAC Cork), light pink cream blush, a good foundation and a good concealer (depends on your sister's skin)

Yeah, or just the cream blush...if you're feeling lazy and don't want to use more products

Help w/ Sephora look

Hi girls,
I don't have a Sephora close by. I was hoping some one can help me with identifying the e/s and lip colors used for this cute look from the "Dare to Play"Sephora vid. I have a dance performance coming up and want to see if this is the one.

Thanks! xxx

Hi, I am new a this thread.

Does anyone know of any good tutorials for blue eyeshadows? TIA :flower:

^ I have searched but nothing really took my fancy, apart from this young girl's look:

Quite like the first one you posted as well. Thanks Ida! :flower:

For the first look Rosie looks like she has on a few cluster fake lashes on her upper lashline. I see 3 of them. I see a beige liner on her waterline. It's a really good thing to do cause it cancels out redness. Then she has a light beige shade all over her lid and a soft taupe in and above the crease. Her skin looks as if it was dusted with some matte bronzer with more concentrated on the cheeks for contour. I don't see anything on the lips, possibly just balm.

princess lovely here's the exact makeup tutorial from the VSFS2010 :flower:

I love this eye shadow colour...anyone knows the name of a similar colour in MAC, Bobbi Brown or L'oreal ??Thanks :flower:
