The Indie / Emerging Designers mega thread

while on the subject of desirable indie designers...even though David Szeto is definitely not a new designer, I've been having the most horrific time trying to find him.

Would anyone like to let me know where his showroom is in Paris? or a way to get in contact with his publicist?

I've fallen in love with his designs ever since I laid eyes on his collection in Barneys - New York.....i yearn for more

MO communication deal with his collection in paris and london... even though this season he showed his collection in a galerie.. his designs are beautiful and i cant wait for him to do his first catwalk show!!

Hey everyone,

Check out www.evananddean.com. They are from Vancouver and are really trend focussed with european styling. Very Fashion Forward. What do you think?

Their stuff seems really nice. Do they have a store in vancouver?

Up and Coming Fashion Designers

We are polling new and forth coming fashion designers and small boutiques for our online magazine. Post some information about designers or boutiques here that we might have some marketable content to make sure you receive the exposure you deserve.

hi, welcome to tfs :)

i'm merging this into the indie designer's mega thread, where i believe you'll find what you're looking for ;)

thanks!

What a great thread. Lots of excellent sites, keep it coming for the "homme" designers. Shame that a lot of them don't have an online store :(

max.

This Old Thing? is being featured on REFINERY 29.com

They do not have a store, but I believe they will be selling at a store called Miss Coquette as well as a store in Victoria called Nushins. It seems to me that evan & dean is a name that should be watched, especially since its coming from Vancouver but has more of an eastcoast flare.

These guys really seem onto something. Their line is out of Vancouver but it might as well be off the runways in Europe. It's nice to see a new design aesthetic coming out of Vancouver. I think they're definitely a label to follow and it will only be a matter of time before they explode onto the scene...at least that's my hopes.

Designers from Bangkok

Hey all,
If you're looking for something truly different, this might interest you. I doubt many of you have heard about what's happening on the Bangkok fashion scene. A group of us have started an NGO to finally get some recognition for those designers.
Here's more information on that www.soiwat.org.
Do let me know what you think about it. Would love to hear your comments!
Doy
